After an experiment blows up in Twilight's face, thanks to Pinkie Pie, Spike decides he's had enough. In his anger a trans-dimensional gateway is accidentally opened hurling them, and perhaps many more, into a new world unlike their own. The universe is not without a sense of humor, as certain personalities are gravitate towards each other through time and space.
No matter what might happen next, one thing is a near certainty for Tenchi and Spike with twelve super powered mares living together.

4516818 I don't know how cannon the shows are, but the last Ryo-ohki special shows all three goddesses reclaiming their power to save tenchi from the dimension jumping he was doing, and explaining that Tenchi may one day equal their power...along with a bunch of other things that were confusing at the time.

This is one of my favorite animes of all times -though I admit I liked the versions that didn't have Kiyone(spell check) more than the ones that did- But anyway I'll just hope and pray this goes well, so far so good all things considered though so you got my like and favorite for now. I don't like the fact that spike is not a dragon. If the story is about him, especaly with a romance tag, he should be a more major player rather than the pet. That is unless the mane 6 will fall for Tenchi...because that would be worse.

One of the things that I loved about TM was that (aside from the movies) it was always up in the air who was "winning" when it came to Tenchi's affections. I'm going to try to keep to that theme, but who's to say it might not have a bit of star crossed lovers style elements.
As for Spike's current form...
Who's to say what his constant exposure to Twilight's magic might have done to him in the TM universe. Stay tuned.

I think Washu's knack for popping up at the right time is rivaled only by Mihoshi's knack for doing the same at the wrong time.
He's actually a pain to write for this story since there are at least three ways I can think to get him in here.

It took me a few takes to figure out that the cast of Tenchi were ponies... might want to have stronger introductory "I just saw this character for the first time" descriptions. And then, in that case, how is Tenchi holding his sword?
Hoooowever I did enjoy the character interplay... more than I suspected I would, even. I think, making the Mane 6 err on the side of "ridiculously powerful" is a pretty good plan when in an anime universe with ridiculously powerful protagonists.

I see what you're saying as far as description for the characters though. I went at it like a fan who knew the TM series for other fans of the series, but it loses something for those who don't know the background. I'll have to go back and re-edit that later. Thanks for the heads up.

Well I know their appearances too, I was a big fan back in the day... It's just nice to always have an introduction at first, and a confirmation that they are in fact ponies (I guess they have the appearance of the cover art.
