I thought so too at first, but there are at least two instances in Magical Mystery Cure. Starswirl's unfinished spell, "From one to another, another to one, a mark of one's destiny singled out alone fulfilled." and her completed spell in the same episode, "From all of us together, together we are friends, with the marks of our destinies made one, there is magic without end."
Although the reasoning will be less popular as far as source material goes, there is also a line in the first EQ movie, "The magic contained in my element was able to unite with those that helped create it." Along with the whole second movie having magic being driven by magical lyrics.
She won't be chanting spells often, but there is a reason I had her chant this one which will be explained soon.
