O.k, first of all before I look over all these comments... Story time!
I just relogged yesterday, since I'm kinda always logged in using Chrome for some reason, as I went: "Oh well, lets see whats with the story updates in my favorite bookshelf."
Then I catch sight of my notification box.
Then I read the number 121.
Then I spit take my coffee all over the place (I was trying to focus on the window, but do that while coughing and getting a cramp in your neck).
Anyway, after my little panic attack (if you can call it that) I went to look what these notifications were about exactly.
Surprise, surprise, it was about people reading my stories... watching them, putting them on the 'read later' list and even favoring them.
... Hää?
(that sounds like huuh? just a bit higher on the u.)
So, I get "The Warden" was perhaps worth reading, thick underline on 'perhaps', but this story here?
It was originally just a forum post, that was removed by moi, since I was kinda shitfaced that evening, then put up as a story by my alter ego which name I have forgotten.
... actually I was still me, but the point is, everyone taking this story seriously... Please don't!
There is a comedy AND random tag for a reason, attacking this story with down votes won't bother me that much, except for depressing me a bit, as this was the product of some half serious, half drunk, writing practice on a topic that god knows how I got the idea from.
But aside from that, thanks for bringing the time to read this... this... whatever you want to call it, and give your comment on it.
"The Warden" is a more "serious" attempt at story writing, though it's far from excellent, I try.
I never claimed that I'm a good writer, Celestia forbid I can hardly write in this language, but I felt the need after reading so many lohav stories to contribute my own to this site I'v been spending so much time on lately.

I still consider this almost nothing, and I was surprised, as I wrote 2 comments before this one, then suddenly a lot of people went and read it.
The upvotes haven't been manipulated, it all just happened. I still don't know how it happened. So far I'v read all the comments and only got nice, funny and good responses, which still surprises me, you are the about the first that gives a negative response.
About an event that I had no control of whatsoever, no less (Again, my reaction with a coffee spit take after seeing my bursting notification list.)
I don't control folks, if they decide to put this in a "reading group" as a suggestion to read or post a link to their friends and they read it, how am I supposed to know about this and intervene?

That's my fault. I'll try to make this answer short. I look for stories on this site that are underappreciated. I found your story and I loved it. Whether you were serious with it or not, it made me laugh and laughing is a good thing. So, I featured it in the A/N of one of my most popular stories, telling people to read it. It's a new thing I started, where I find stories from writers that aren't recognized and give them a bit of exposure. Because I know what it's like to write a story and not getting noticed, so I'm taking some of my "popularity" and sharing it with people that aren't as lucky.
