Very nice. It seems a little fast paced but that's ok. I like the references to the game. One thing I would like to see is character development out of one of his pokemon. Sort of how pikachu is to Ash. Also, perhaps a wild encounter with ponyta?

One little pokemon note, fake out only works if it's the first move used. Since Glameow used scratch and then fake out it shouldn't have done anything.
I'm loving the story so far, quick question though, are you using those lines from Pokemon Origins?
