Anyway, on to the story:
The characters honestly seemed not like themselves. However, I can look past that.
I'm trying to not be nitpicky, but honestly those three sentences were absolutely painful. Sock should be socks, second sentence needs rewording as to not be redundant, and third is just... No. reword that also, something like "But something seemed different about them. The style in which they were made looked quite familiar."
Which brings me to my next point: Spike can make cloths? That would make sense since he's over at Rarity's so often, but he isn't as he's in love with Sunset... Hmmm...
Where did Sunset get the extra 10 bits? I'm assuming Rarity gave it to her for 5, but it would develop their relationship a little more if Sunset has a small panic moment and offers to work off the other ten or something.
Now to end my rant with the end of your rant: Ugh. I honestly did not need that image in my head.
I don't like how it ends, it distracts from the mood and... A dragon and a pony???
