I've survived The Princess Promenade. Multiple times. Beat that.

Rainbow Dash wasn't always Rainbow Dash. She was once a sickly filly, white as snow. She was once Blizzard.

But when she fell into the rainbow pool, everything changed. Forever.

This was nice. I like it.
But you have to put an "Alt Universe" tag on this!
This is most definitely an alternate universe, so make sure you add that tag.

3488896 It's not an alternate universe. It's just her past. :duck: Did something I said make you think this?

3489560 Well, in the episode where they show their backstories, I don't think this would fit in with how they explained it?

It seems possible to me. That episode only showed how they got their butt-tats. And even then, RD and Flutters were already friends, so this could very well be before that.

3489811 Mh, I suppose. But it's the author's call

I liked it, and Lag Incarnate could be right.

The flashbacks in the show were of her getting her cutie mark, this is well before that event.

I'm pretty sure they also stated that that was Rainbow Dash first ever race, and that could very well have been the first time Rainbow and Fluttershy ever met for all we know.

Plus, Rainbow's dad (or at least a relative) has a rainbow mane, more than enough reason to believe that she was born with it, would be way too much of a coincidence to make sense.

But either way, I don't think this is enough to need an Alternate Universe tag, if every story that has a couple of details that doesn't fully work with canon had an Alternate Universe tag, there probably wouldn't be many stories without one. This world can easily become one that's identical to the canon one, so why bother.

3489939 Correct. She couldn't have gotten her cutie mark unless she was Rainbow Dash, right? :twilightsmile:

Oh God the feels man I'm like crying right now

....as a high functioning autistic, I'm torn. On the one hand, it is a good story, but on the other.... "Curing" autism reeks of brainwashing to me.

love i t :heart::pinkiehappy::pinkiesmile::raritystarry::twilightsmile::yay::trollestia:

3491141>>3493672 Great! :pinkiehappy:

3491991 Sorry about that. No, I was using Rotorix's idea of "toxic rainbows". Sort of. :twilightsheepish:

best story EVER :twilightsmile:

Stories fine, but all the emotional scenes felt short and rushed.

I always wondered that. This ought'a be good! :pinkiesmile: :twilightsmile:

Wow! Great story! I really like the character development in rainbow dash!

BTW do you know how to post a profile picture?

Hey! This is the OTHER Derpy (Derpy 2) I love this story! I really think it answers some plot holes cough buckeneer blaze cough . This is truly amazing! You have such original ideas! Keep it up!

3668073 I posted the answer on your question on my user page. :twilightsmile:

This one...eh. Some of the character interaction was good but I felt like you should have expanded on a few things. Like RD's mom's death, you'd think that it would have somewhat of a big deal to her, but it gets shrugged off until one scene in which she's crying. Plus, rainbows having a healing power? That's a bit of a stretch, even in a land of magic talking ponies.
How Dashie Got Her Mane gets a questionable

4510169 Thank you very much for your feedback. I'll be sure to remember it for future stories. :twilightsmile:

4511801 Your welcome. I hope to see you improve in the future. :raritywink:

I decided to read this again, and it was still as enjoyable as ever. My only complaints would be what 4510169 had to say. There wasn't enough detail concerning her mom's death. Still, 9/10 rainbows!

Very creative, very creative:moustache:
I LUV IT!:twilightsmile:

Nice! It made me look at RD differently

:rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss::rainbowkiss: out of 5 squees

Wow... This was so sadly amazing. :pinkiesad2: I loved it!
