A sad fluttershy story?
oh man...
im so conflicted, on one hand i love fluttershy,
on the other hoof, i know ill end up crying incoherently in a ball by the end if i read it.

Wow. That was pretty deep. I've always liked stories that are written through a letter. You use it to get to the heart of what Fluttershy is thinking better than any dialogue. All in all, this is just great stuff. I'd expect no less from you.

You equate my name with good fics? *Cries tears of humility and joy* :fluttercry::twilightsmile:

Hey, you're a bro, bro.

Question:

Twenty-six years had passed since Fluttershy met Twilight Sparkle

Fluttershy was now thirty years old...

I am confuse :derpyderp1:

Either way, this hurt me in great ways :pinkiesad2:

The feels were felt in my heart for this story. Great job as always my friend, now go ahead and keep doing your wodours writting for us! Also I give this 5:yay:/5:yay: on the Flutteryay scale.

3394822 He goes by the equine-years scale. I go by the human-years scale.

3395945 Oh well that would explain my ineptitude :rainbowwild:

It's pretty interesting. I'd like to see more of that story

3402547Oh, you would?
I need a new project anyway. Thanks!

Wait, she was four when she and Twi met? She was living alone and had already completed school before she reached puberty? She was likely around the same age (younger, maybe) as all of her friends, and maybe a bit younger than Cheerilee. Does this mean Twi was four or five as well, and Cheerilee was teaching at the age of five or six? Gaaaah
Eh, good story nonetheless.

This story was actually interesting.

Something about this story just seemed a little off to me. Maybe it was that Fluttershy is mourning the loss of Twilight and I've seen that before many times, where I see this and... I don't know. But, it slowly became interesting. Most fics I've read like this are usually emphasizing the death and its impact on the character. You have her dealing with it through philosophy. Which is a little odd, but I think it works for Fluttershy.

Her age bothered me. I mean, she's thirty years old in this story and Twilight died 26 years ago. So, Twilight met Fluttershy when she was four. Now, I did read up on pony life spans, and it turns out that pony's can live about 25 to 30 years of age, on average. So, maybe that's canon, I don't know. But that bothered me a lot.

The descriptions on the inner thoughts of Fluttershy were very well done. You described them well and the thought in Fluttershy's letter was pretty deep. I just wonder why she was writing to Luna. Makes me wonder what happened to Celestia.

Again, not a bad story. A lot of good things here. Some deep thought went into this. A few nitpicks, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, thanks for letting me read it and I'll catch you next time. Take care. :pinkiehappy:

3753631 I'm glad you liked it!
