Yes, I do suspect that I got some auto-down votes for having an alicorn OC, otherwise there would have probably been comments telling my why so many ponies gave this a dislike.
However, given how many favorites this is receiving, I am undaunted. Next chapter coming very soon!

Such a perfect Discord! Just because he's a 'good guy' doesn't mean he's supposed to help maintain order. Indeed, I imagine he loves nothing more than to wallow in some gratuitous chaos with a handful of sodas and some refreshing popcorn

Forgot how particular Discord was about his chaos. I'm waiting for him to finally get really pissed at Amber, let her hurl a few spells ineffectually, then turn her into a tadpole. Then get bored and keep randomly transforming her as his hobby.
Discord is about to drop the hammer, and the hammer is made from kryptonite jell-o.
Unfortunately, there's still Twilight Puppet to throw a wrench into the heroes' actions...

Sorry everypony that it has been awhile since our last update. Lots of life circumstances and stuff.
However, I am excited to bring you a two chapter bonus, the conclusion of our story! SongCoyote and I hope you enjoy it immensely and thank you all for following us at whatever point you may have.

3371196 I have to say that this is a very impressive story, and one of the lessons behind it are to learn from your mistakes, and it also shows that time can heal the wounds that you think would hurt the most, trust me I know, my stepdad passed away just two days before my 18th birthday and I was devastated when I first heard but now it doesn't bother me as much but it still hurts some.

Writing this story with Deathtoheaven731 was an amazing experience. There are many parts of it that still make me cry to read them, not least because not only am I a big believer in redemption, I have been given chances I never felt I deserved, and have made remarkable changes in myself for the better. Even so, I still work hard to continue to be worthy of such compassion and forgiveness.

It sounds like what we need are more balanced character reactions and interactions (which will help cover most of the plot holes you mentioned), clearer setting descriptions, and a bit more about why and how Amber (or any character, for future stories) could be worthy of ascension while having the potential to be utterly bonkers (which should cover the rest of the holes).
We both learned a lot in writing and publishing this story. Here's to improvement and to an even better reception for our next ones, collaborative or otherwise!

I have another long story in the works that will be the same cannon as this story, though Amber Dawn will not return in that specific story. I do tend to bring her back as soon as I can though!
I must say I really enjoyed this fanfic. Little amused at how discords attacks reminded me of Soraka from League of Legends and especially glad that you did something alot of others don't. You included a 'where are they now' chapter. I love reading up on what became of characters after the actual story is finished and im glad you did not disappoint. I also enjoyed the confliction between same sex marriages and its acceptance. Tho I am a heterosexual I do believe it'd everyone's right to be happy. Once again great fanfic hope to see more from you.

I love this story and how well it's displayed
I've read the prequel before I even found this story, and I eagerly await the sequel! My only desire is for more of Twilestia romance/sex because that's just me and my perverted self. 
I can't wait to see how the sequel turns out, I'm positive it'll keep me hooked until the very end just like this one did! Thanks for a great read
