Co-writer here. Just wanted to thank you for your comment, and to express my sorrow at your loss. I know what it's like to lose love and to lose family, and I am heartened to hear that you have found some peace within you even through the pain.

Writing this story with Deathtoheaven731 was an amazing experience. There are many parts of it that still make me cry to read them, not least because not only am I a big believer in redemption, I have been given chances I never felt I deserved, and have made remarkable changes in myself for the better. Even so, I still work hard to continue to be worthy of such compassion and forgiveness.

It sounds like what we need are more balanced character reactions and interactions (which will help cover most of the plot holes you mentioned), clearer setting descriptions, and a bit more about why and how Amber (or any character, for future stories) could be worthy of ascension while having the potential to be utterly bonkers (which should cover the rest of the holes).

We both learned a lot in writing and publishing this story. Here's to improvement and to an even better reception for our next ones, collaborative or otherwise!

I have another long story in the works that will be the same cannon as this story, though Amber Dawn will not return in that specific story. I do tend to bring her back as soon as I can though!

I must say I really enjoyed this fanfic. Little amused at how discords attacks reminded me of Soraka from League of Legends and especially glad that you did something alot of others don't. You included a 'where are they now' chapter. I love reading up on what became of characters after the actual story is finished and im glad you did not disappoint. I also enjoyed the confliction between same sex marriages and its acceptance. Tho I am a heterosexual I do believe it'd everyone's right to be happy. Once again great fanfic hope to see more from you.

I love this story and how well it's displayed I've read the prequel before I even found this story, and I eagerly await the sequel! My only desire is for more of Twilestia romance/sex because that's just me and my perverted self. I can't wait to see how the sequel turns out, I'm positive it'll keep me hooked until the very end just like this one did! Thanks for a great read

In answer to both of your inquiries, there is a bias against alicorn OCs. And to be honest, the cover art we used when we first posted was from Pony Creator, which made it all worse. We got a lot of downvotes without reading because of it. (Mugen, the post you linked to was from one for whom an alicorn OC automatically cost us their interest.)

Fortunately the response from those who read the story is pretty positive. Hope you're liking it, too! If you have any input or questions we welcome them!

This story was oh so fantastic! I love it! Great pacing. Totally blunt with the consequences and no sugar coating? That's rare in the fandom nowadays, especially with Flutterbutt. I hope to see more stories like this. Well done! WELL DONE!!!
