wow. I enjoyed this immensely

4227209 Thank you! This was an immense pleasure to write and I'm glad to finally have it up! :pinkiehappy:

Holy Faust, we've been featured! :pinkiegasp: Thank you everypony for your patronage, it means a lot to us! :pinkiehappy::twilightsmile::yay:

Dude. That was amazing. One of the best Twilestia's I've ever read before.:pinkiegasp:

You definitely deserve to be featured my friend. :pinkiehappy: :yay: :raritywink: :ajsmug: Good job and keep up the amazing work.

Listening to this really sent the entertainment value up.

I am glad I read this.

4229199 4228177 Thank you! ::rainbowkiss:

4228159 Just pressed the play button, I really see what you mean! :pinkiegasp: This music just... fits!:raritystarry:

And thank you so much! More fun things are on the way, though quality does take time.

And on a general note, HOLY LIKES AND FAVES BATMAN!!!

The style and quality of the writing in this is excellent. The only thing that I would criticize is the abruptness of the ending, the lack of real closure to the story. But aside from that, this was very well written and damned sexy!

Wow, nice and short, short and sweet, etc. Lovable thing this story is.

~OreoKookie

I really, really enjoyed this story. This story quite literally had me blushing at the vivid images you kept creating and molding and evolving through out. The ending though caught me by so much surprise. Please tell me there'll be some closure or at least a continuation of their exploration of love.

Greetings from the story's co-author!

So glad you enjoyed this little vignette, and especially that you are asking for more! Given how much we enjoyed writing this one I think it quite possible we will continue exploring the heady and delicate relationship between Celestia and Twilight. :trollestia:  :twilightblush: No promises, though - we have other stories in the works, too!

We are very grateful for the positive response - including being featured, good heavens! - this story has received. Thank you and all our readers for your support and interest!

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

So what ever happened to the small cake that was on the way?

The ending was waaay too abrupt if you ask me (and the way Celestia said things there sounded a bit... dismissively to me), but it was cute overall.

I don't read much Twilestia. This one, though... This was good.

This is Lovely One of my favorite Stories yet.
Keep it up my good friend.

Wow...just...wow. The way you described everything was beyond poetic, it was so beautiful and so artistic and you made this pairing seem so plausible. I love this story and I shall cherish it for quite some time.

Thank you so much! :yay:

4234225 4233727
The new epilogue should address that. :raritywink:

Now we just need another sequel...

4246207 There is plenty of stuff that follows this fanfic's cannon in the works and/or in the planning stages. :raritywink:

Hm, I should have checked that tab of Fimfiction's front page that I opened before going to the CCG event Monday. I said I didn't recognize the name of your story, but as soon as I got home it was right there on the featured list where I would have seen it anyway. Well, in all likelihood, I probably would have tossed it into the bottomless pit of my Read Later list, so at least you mentioning it made sure I actually got to it. Although, now that I think about it, I'm not really sure which of you two that was.

Well anyway, it's been a while since I've read a Twilestia story. It always was a pairing that seemed pretty plausible, especially now that Twilight's a princess too, and this seems believable for how they might approach such a situation. I was going to say that I agreed that it perhaps ended a bit abruptly, but that's somewhat to be expected if this is a prequel. But then I waited around a day before making my comment, and now there's suddenly an epilogue, so yeah. I kinda want some cake too, wonder what flavor they had.

*Cough* That's Twilestia centered *Cough*

Wonderfully done! Combines perfect characterizations with immeasurable hotness. Great stuff, instant thumbs up and gold star. Also bonus points for having the anciently wise Celestia still mange to be surprised by Twilight, which I always imagined was one of Twilight's ongoing life goals.

A wonderful story, but I have a few nitpicks:
Princess Celestia is Queen? Of course that's the trope, but there's still some title weirdness. Perhaps "Princess" is not a title, but her first name? :derpytongue2:

Rainbow Dash, the very Element of Loyalty, is "not the most committed of ponies"?

4248361 lol, have u ever actually watched the show? literally every other member of the mane 6 is more consistently loyal then rainbow dash. 75% of the time when a pony who throws a friend under the bus, or bails on friends to do something else, or shows 0 interest in her friends' interests and needs, its rainbow dash doing it.

anyhoo this is a good story its written well and its sexy also, i have to say i think the epilogue is superfluous. i know ppl complained the ending was too abrupt and i agree that it should have had a tiny bit more, but the epilogue feels a little like ur retreading the same territory for the most part when just 2 to 4 sentences added to the end of the story would've done the job. but of course it is not a big deal at all, the epilogue is still short enough that its not a problem, and its always better that u try to address the problems ppl mentione and i can apreciate that u trying to make readers happy so ur all good. but ya good story, good enough 2 be worthy of the pairing

4248361
Hi, and thank you kindly for the input!

Though this isn't made clear in the story, whether Celestia would normally refer to herself as Queen is immaterial next to what title she (and by extension, her beloved student, who wrote the letter) knows the Chancellor of Gryphonia would expect and respect. Sometimes diplomatic missives require a bit of frippery, exaggeration, or outright hyperbole to make their point, or at least to appear as important as they "should" appear.

As for Rainbow Dash, I think 4248693 answered that quite sufficiently below :)

Glad you liked the story in spite of your concerns. Have a great day and then some!

SongCoyote

4248361 I've been meaning to reply to this and address this is for awhile. There are historical instances of human royal figures possessing offices that don't match their titles. For example, in the Renaissance and Enlightment periods, the Holy Roman Empire degraded from a formal empire to a confederacy of German kingdoms and duchies. The Holy Roman Emperor (office) was the Archduke (title) of Austria at one point, and eventually when the Empire finally was dissolved Austria became an Empire of its own, at which point the Archduke (title) became the Emperor (title) of Austria.

In the same way, Princess (title) Celestia is the High Queen (office) of Equestria, Princess (title) Cadence is the Empress (office) of the Crystal Empire, etc.. Hope that's clears things up.

freaking d'awww moments in these clopfics what is with you author's that make such great d'aww moments

4323992 :pinkiehappy: Thank you thank you! Our goal was to do more than just sex, but romance. We're glad we've succeeded by some measure.

This story was amazing! Just so beautiful. It's right up there with 'The Lavender Letter' by Sunchaser. You should read it if you haven't yet.

Thank you very much for the kind comment! My co-writer and I appreciate you taking the time. I'll have to check out the story you recommended... in my copious free time :derpytongue2:

Have a wonderful day and them some!

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

Two things I liked about your story: use of metaphors in the narrative, and consent.
Metaphors give the whole experience a very poetic feel, which gives more impact to the reader how important what they're reading is. I wish I could belt that out more often than not, I usually seem to be very straightforward in my descriptions.
And consent: nothing is more appealing than consent to me. It's something that's really murky in erotic works of art, both visual and literary, so it's nice to see it in plain sight sometimes. And it's really sweet too!
The beginning of the story is rather telly and exposition heavy (instead of being told in a paragraph or two that Celly and Twilight had a moment in the gardens, I would have much rather have watched that unfold myself, OR had the both of them talk about it amongst themselves, like "Princess I haven't seen you since we spent the evening in the garden!" "Yes, such a lovely evening; I can't tell you how much I've yearned to taste your lips again"). I ended up skipping a lot of the beginning to get to the coitus, but I'm getting the sense that the sex scene was the main drive for writing this story.

Greetings, and thank you very much for the kind and thoughtful comment!

My co-author and I will take your words to heart regarding the exposition, and am very grateful for your enjoyment of the scenes between Celestia and Twilight, as they were a pleasure to write and edit!

Now to consider working on expanded stories of their relationship.... :twilightblush:  :trollestia:

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

This is damn hot! I really love the characterization for both Twilight and Celestia. What I love the most however is the build-up and development of the relationship and there is an actual enjoy. Good job! :yay:

4881596
Thank you kindly! I'm very glad you enjoyed this little story. Getting Twilight and Celestia's voices right (even if they are indulging in *ahem* non-canon interactions) was very important to us!

Plus I'm very glad you found it hot :twilightblush:

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

4911383 Not a problem. I wish there were more Twilestia clopfics like this involving actual build-up in the relationship and actual consensual sex and I'm fortunate enough to have found this clopfic.

Keep up the good work. :pinkiehappy:

4922935 We hope to keep contributing when we can. Lately things have been pretty busy, but I'm sure we will find the time to writing another :twilightsheepish::heart::trollestia: fic soon enough.

Thank you for your warm compliments and your interest in our work. :pinkiehappy:

I must say, as a person who is much more into gore, torture and war and writes about it extensively, I found this story much more than enjoyable, I found it HOT! I have always found the idea of a Twilight/Celestia ship as interesting but damn, you wrote the perfect one! A like, a fave and a watch! Keep up the good work.

I think that element of loyalty would be the commited one. You picked the wrong pony for uncommited love. Rainbow dash is the loyal type that would have no sex until she finds her partner for life.

5134096 The Element bearers are not necessarily perfect embodiments of their respective Elements. Rainbow Dash has been repeatedly shown as conflicted over between her ego and her loyalty. The extent that Fluttershy lets her fear run not only her life but the lives of her friends is not really kind. Rarity can be immensely selfish. Applejack is not always humorous. Pinkie can take laughter to such an event that she becomes decided unfunny. Twilight lets her love of science cloud her appreciation of magic.

Thank you for the input though!

who knew Celestia could be so kinky?^^ I really enjoyed this one^^

5198340
One suspects that after thousands of years of life Celestia has managed to refine her own desires down to exactly what turns her on. In this particular case (and for me, one of the co-authors, in my headcanon for her) that boils down to finding what turns others on and doing it, especially those she cares about.

Thanks for commenting - my co-author and I really appreciate it and are glad you enjoyed the story!

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

Wow, that's some excellent writing skill there~
I enjoyed it!

5708540 Thank you so much! We're glad you liked it!

This was unbelievably hot. The characterization for both characters was top notch and I'm very difficult to please with Celestia. Twilight felt like a young passionate lover while Celestia invoked thoughts of an old and experienced being and a lover with all the fire in the sun still burning with her desire.

This story was an inspiration on how to write a romance clopfic and it goes into my "quick to reach so I can re-read it" folder.

6115849
Thank you indeed for your quite glowing comment! I'm so glad this little tale got such a reaction from you. It definitely makes me want to write more with my wonderful co-author :raritystarry:

I'll be honest: this story gets me going, and I'm not always that affected by what I write. :twilightblush:

Many thanks again, and have a wonderful weekend and more!

Light and laughter,
SongCoyote

I am sorry, Holy Felonian Empire? Empire of felons?
That sounds weird. Did I miss some meaning, since English is technically my second language, or is it a typo of some sort. Perhaps felinian was meant instead?

Also " She’s… not the most committed of ponies.". We are talking about the Element of Loyalty Rainbow Dash here, no?
I truly apologize for nitpicking on this wonderful story, but that is just...wrong.

6599647 The Holy Felonian Empire is a nation of cats... Felines.

As for Rainbow Dash, there are moments in the show where she makes very questionable loyalty choices, only to pull through in the end.

6925465 You would have SongCoyote to thank for that more than I, but your comment is no less appreciated.
