Good to see another chapter; looking forward to where this will go, especially how Celestia will take all of this.
Well this unexpected.
My suggestion: Give the Twin Islands to America!
USA! USA! USA!
This is an interesting prospect, bringing America and its values to a country relatively ignorant of the war and nationalism we thrive on. I wonder, will it live long enough to become a full fledged world power or will it be a tiny city-state of little importance? I certainly hope the former.
thats actually really clever of luna, very very clever.
I couldn't help but feel patriotic when I was reading this, Murica!

If he was riding a Griffon, it would be even better.
AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!
Even though it was a movie that people take too seriously (thanks Michael Bay) I still like this version.
5630363 COMIN' AGAIN TO SAVE THE MOTHERFUCKIN' DAY YEAH!
I just sat here, binge reading this for the past three hours, and let me say this. Loving it!
Shit just got real
God bless the greatest country in the universe and multiverse...
The United States of America.
MERICA!
Dear Celestia.
Today i learned how to sneek up on someone and stab them in the throat! This special forces training that America is putting us through is great! Tomàrrow we get to learn to make exposives. I bet it will be a blast.
Sincerely
EbonRose
man that was good can't wait until the next chapter and don't worry you're doing a good job
The action will begin!
Oh cliff hanger how much I hate thee. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the next chapter :)
I may be a bit late to the party, but I have on thing to say. It'll only be U.S.A in name. There is more to this country then unnecessary patriotism. We live a in a nation where every cultural can be found. The U.S in a mixing pot, and that is truly its greatest trait. This 'new' version will never be the same, it can't.
Now Dominic just needs to turn his military into a combination of Marines, Seals, Rangers, and Delta Force. Should be interesting to see Drill Sargent Dominic.

Ya never know, I'm sure there are plenty of disenfranchised people of other species in the world. It may not be a melting pot now, but I could be, maybe... I don't know yet.
5633909 it'll never quite be the same, magic land just doesn't have the diversity humanity has.
I have an idea. You know when Domnic broke off BlueBlood's horn? You said the magic discharged into his hand, and with human materials and skin absorbing magic, maybe Dom can channel it back. If you get what I mean.
I don't really know about this chapter. I think you're starting to play the whole "America, fuck yeah" thing a bit too straight. The whole conceit of Dominic being a lonely teenager who barely remembers what living in America pre-postapocalyspse as like but worships it anyway was a funny running gag at first, but lately it feels like the story is starting to buy its own hype, which makes it just kind of weird and a bit uncomfortable in that "southern uncle who collects Civil War memorabilia" sort of way.
I loved this chapter... mostly. The only part I hated was how rushed the whole "Founding" of America was. First, it began with the generals and Luna showing up with barely a "How do you do", and suddenly;
You had an amazing opportunity for a great internal conflict and just skipped it. There could have been so much more to the dilemma of whether he should reestablish the US only for its first act to be war. I mean, this is a big decision, not to mention the fact that it's incredibly dirty and underhanded (underhoofed?); founding a country so you can attack someone else and say "we didn't do it!"
I still love this story, and this one thing isn't even close to making me give up on it, but I still feel a little disappointed that this conflict was just glossed over. I get wanting to get to the good stuff, hell I've made the same mistakes, but sometimes the longer build up is worth it.
Anyway, as I said, I do love this story, and can't wait for more. I'm just giving my two cents. And, hey, if everyone who liked this story did the same, you'd have almost $11

You've got a good point there. I might re write this one. I don't do that often, but this definitely is something I'll look into. I guess I thought people would be upset that I was taking too long on it.
Hoo-Rah!
5689010 so much downvotes i like it
A small country made up entirely of soldiers.
Can't wait to see how this all plays out, especially Celestia's reaction.

4 tribes, and 2 alicorns...oh and zebra's...
Americans taking credit for the world wars always makes me laugh. World War One was already won by the time the Americans joined, it was just finishing the job.
World War Two, credit where credit is due, the Americans were alone in the Pacific, with only the remnants of the Australian fleet for support. In Europe, I'm sure the British, Canadians and Russians would like a word...
And now he's going off to literally become Team America: (Equestrian) World Police.
regalia
The chapters seem a little fast-paced and there are small, lingering typos, but still good nonetheless!
5739673 Eh, when we get in a war, we start swinging immediately.
*reads first part* And then the mega-spells hit.
5647987 One of them princesses needs to go one winged angel on their ass wile Octavia plays this
as Nod would say peace through power. but that just me
*Sighs* Well... Can't say i'm not surprised. Not a big fan of this development. I like America just like any other but this is a tad bit ridiculous.
But.. as the good Doctor says... Allons-y.
Why am I reminded of fallout 4 and it's posters saying "Help uncle Sam, enlist today!" Or "Fight the red menace!"
I cannot but find this hollow as we have seen him meting out justice. Unless American morals and beliefs involve mutilation and chopping off limbs as a punishment.
This man or boy has no leg to stand on to ask such things from anyone.
'Murica! Fuck yeah!

They never mention the lend lease do they in history class, do they? Not like we pumped God knows how much raw materials, canned food, ammunition, trucks, etc. into Russia that saved them in the end. Industry also played a role as we pulled Britian from the knife edge of the U-Boats, they needed our industry and resources to supply them and mass produce their technology, with it we were able to bring the Wolfpack to its knees.
Let's not forget as soon as America entered the Great War that Germany began to severely lose ground, they couldn't keep up with American industry, so yeah, we didn't see much action in the Great War, but we were one of the most influential nations in it.
America has returned. Fuck yea!
I forgot to say this but AMERICA FUCK YEAH
6606987 *knock knock knock knock*
I have a pizza order for "the Doctor".
Suddenly this has gone right around the bend. I can't actually take this plot development seriously. I mean, the idea that re-branding your soldiers and putting them under the command of a random foreigner will insulate you from the consequences is pretty far-fetched. Supplying resources to a preexisting ally or third party? Fine, that might work. A direct attack by your soldiers, using your equipment, led by a single foreigner and all claiming to be part of a nation no one's ever actually heard of before, barring that same foreigner? A "nation" which is obviously acting at the direction and with the support of Equestria? That will, at the most, provide the minotaurs a paper-thin excuse to ignore it if they really want to.
Edit: Oh, I see. It's because Luna is kinda crazy. How are all these alicorns still in charge, again?
Rebuild the United States...... I am curious
