Jace didn't know what went wrong. One moment he was traversing the Blind Eternities; searching for anything that could pique his interest, the next he found himself sucked into a unique plane whose features he never found present in the others he has been to. That plane was Equestria.
Now in a different body he was yet to be accustomed to; Jace found himself interested in the vast world he got himself in... often finding trouble in all corners of Equestria for some unknown reason.

You should really consider getting a pre/proof- reader. While I love both MTG and MLP the problems with tense and grammar are quite distracting such as,

Interesting, though it isn't clear whether or not Jace can understand the locals. If he can't, his actions are understandable. If he can, then he just rather intensively mind probed someone when he could've just talked to her. Yes, it's Jace Beleren, for whom there is no such thing as privacy in one's own head, but still, kind of a dick move. I expect there to be some serious ramifications for this.
Oh, and then there's this. Emphasis added to illustrate the point:
Twilight's the only character present. You don't have to call out her name once per sentence. Ironically, you get better about this once she's amongst others.
In any case, looking forward to more, especially since, again, Jace just did a very intrusive mental scan of Celestia's student. While she was aware of it. Cannot emphasize that enough.

I've never considered a proof-reader before...it's because I'm usually confident in my grammar. But I suppose hiring one is a valid option, considering that I've also been working on some projects that require my full attention. Only problem would is, I'm not sure how to hire one.

Lignify causes the enchanted creature to lose all abilities. That clearly includes flying, but I wonder, will also impact Fluttershy's animal empathy? If so, she's probably going to find herself regretting this. I hope Jace has something that can remove Auras prepared...
