Vinyl Scratch gets her own talk show on the radio. She uses it to spread her own opinions of the modern politics of Equestria, but goes a little over board when she decides to act upon her beliefs. Between broadcasts she must also deal with the very real problems facing her. The Mane 6 must fight to protect their home from a propaganda driven tyranny that sounds a lot better than it looks.

Rated Teen for swearing, though Scratch will be the only character that does.

And yes that's Geralt in Equestria Girl style for infinite justice

Note: Familiarity with The Witcher series is probably not necessary for enjoyment of this fic. There are a lot of references to events from the books (Especially Sword of Destiny), but the important ones are explained anyway.

Geralt of Rivia had a complicated life on The Continent. Navigating difficult political situations, getting shorted by his clients, slaying monsters, and living as an outcast had made things challenging for the witcher.

But now, Geralt has found himself in a foreign land, with foreign customs and behavior. Seeking to do what he has always done – find witcher's work slaying monsters – Geralt is about to discover just how simple things can become. And how challenging the simplest of things can really be.

Friendship. I'm talking about friendship. It's simple, but it's challenging, get it? Don't overthink this. The comedy and random tags exist for a reason. Also, sex tag is for references to sex, not because of actual sex. Get your heads out of the gutter.

Chapters (11)

Politics is messy. That can't be more true than in Equestrian politics. With the recent passing of a royal degree by Celestia to cut apple farm subsidiaries considerably, it has most of Equestria talking. This includes the titular elements of harmony...

Now, Twilight finds herself locked in a small argument between her friends, which slowly devolves into madness. Can she help her friends who are willing to rip each other's throats out?

(Rated Teen because of icky fictional politics and not so nice language)

WOWY WOWZERS this is really bad... I may edit and redo this...

Hi, I’m Aiden Walter Dixon.

Most just call me Aiden or Addy. I'm an archeological detective who's travelled the world in my submarine, on my mountain bike, on my skateboard, and flying high in my paramotor.

This is the story of how during a daring attempt to investigate the numerous disappearances of ships and airplanes in the Bermuda Triangle, I was sucked into a vortex and ended up in a seaside town, where I met a cute hooved friend who was just as passionate about her own kind's history.

Let me tell you about it.

P.S.: Quick disclaimers:
1. My Little Pony does not exist in the human world, so no human knows of ponies' existence. I have made the ponies are around 30 inches tall at the withers (shoulder peak).
2. This takes place in between the A New Generation movie and Tell Your Tale.
3. I do talk about guns in this story. Please keep the comments politics-free and thanks.

An episodic short story collection about... well, read the title.

You are Tom, a human in Equestria through some vaguely-defined plot device... But that's not important, you're a human in a land of pastel talking ponies, this ain't rocket science. You make a bit of a hubbub about Equestria through your bizarre and inexplicable difference from typical equine nature - including an oddly-obsessive mint-colored pony with a harp for a Cutie Mark.

Attention becomes so great that you find yourself a guest of the Royal Family at Canterlot Castle. Celestia is nice enough, tries to make you feel comfortable despite the oddity of the situation. Luna, however, is just a pleasantly-enigmatic being. Always aloof, what few times you interact are in polite company and she has an odd air of archaism to her.

You want to get to know her more. She provides you the means one memorable night, launching you on a bizarre quest...

Princess Celestia gave very clear instructions to Twilight and her friends before sending them through the Interface to the temporary embassy on Earth: without the unanimous support of all six mares, any and all negotiations with the humans of the Confederate Gulf States will come to a screeching halt.

Both sides have much to gain from a cordial relationship and, after a week of feverish talks, the Confederacy has brought around five of the six Equestrian ambassadors... But there is one hold-out: Applejack. How can the CGS' diplomatic team get Applejack to sign off on the deal?

That's a tricky question, but by no means the hardest... The hardest is being asked by Texas Guard Corporal Robert E. L. Cargyle: why the heck do his bosses think that he is the one for the job?!

One thing's for sure... Politics definitely makes for some strange bedfellows.

A/N: Don't worry, readers; despite the title, this is not a clopfic

Tagged alternate universe for things on the HUMAN side of things, not the Equestrian side. I only made this an alternate human history for my own personal amusement... and so that I could fudge the details of protocol etc for the diplomatic stuff.

This is just a silly little thing I came up with after watching some line dancing when I got dragged to a country bar for someone's going away party. Anyway, it was fun.

This story is based on the Equestria at War -mod for Hearts of Iron 4. However the lore is greatly expanded upon for story purposes. Some characters referenced are from the mod and belong to their creators as do the base lore, location names etc. created for the mod.

Please support the mod by subscribing to it at Steam Workshop and playing it if you can. It is truly a terrific mod with great amount of work and detail put into it.

Sometimes, as an author, you have ideas for stories that you think are great, but others ... disagree.

The Wait of Expectation: Princess Luna has only been back home in Canterlot for a scant few weeks, but she is eager to both make up for her past and make amends with her sister after what happened between them a thousand years ago; she wishes to reinstitute the Shadow Guard, the Defenders of the Night, and Celestia gifts her with a few potential candidates. Whilst appraising them, however, Luna quickly discovers that Celestia is dealing with some issues of her own ... and they take on a very surprising form! [Slice of Life]

In Practice: Rainbow Dash has a reputation for being a little bit thoughtless; while she has her eyes set on glory thanks to a new trick that she's just learned about, Twilight Sparkle can only see the possibilities for disaster. Not just for herself, but for all of Ponyville should things go awry. She attempts to talk Rainbow Dash out of performing it, but unfortunately Twilight quickly discovers that, fuelled by adrenaline and ego, it's near-impossible to talk to her at all! [Slice of Life]

Caught Between Two Worlds: Feeling like a stranger in Equestria now, far more used to the pecularities of the human world, Sunset Shimmer is no longer certain that there's a place for her there any more; she doubts that her relationship with Celestia will ever be what it was, and her former friends and family are now nothing more than polite, well-meaning strangers to her. The only thing keeping her in Equestria is her relationship with Fluttershy who now has to deal with a resurgence of the bat-pony curse which once afflicted her. Together, maybe they can solve both their problems? [Romance/Slice of Life]

"We have no hope against the wall: it's too high, too dark, too cold."

Years of discontent boil over as Ponyville citizens stage an occupation of Market Square, demanding reforms that Canterlot will not consider. Caught in the middle, Princess Twilight is immediately thrown into the mess of histories, politics, and emotions that have led up to this unprecedented moment - and may also jeopardize her close relationship with Princess Celestia.

Can Twilight find a solution before her beloved hometown tears itself apart? Or will Ponyville's protestors learn what they have always known - that it is pointless to challenge the power of a god?

This story contains invented Ponyville slang and stretched interpretations of canon, so be warned.

Thanks to Politicalunrest2400 for a quick pre-read of the first two chapters.

Inspired by the Umbrella Revolution, the three-month long occupation of major roadways in Hong Kong from Sept-Dec 2014. (Declaration of interest: I was a participant in the Revolution.)

The opening sentence in the description is from Haruki Murakami's speech upon accepting the Jerusalem Prize in 2009. He was talking about Israel and Palestine then; the quote went viral in Hong Kong and was re-purposed for the purposes of the democratic movement there.

Artwork is obtained from MLP wiki images which are then processed through Paint.net. Obviously there are no images of ponies rioting in MLP, so don't look at the picture too closely.
