Celestia dreads 'Drudge Day,' the weekly time she spends dealing with legal affairs. As problems roll in she finds herself melancholy; has she really seen all of this before? Surrounded by a parade of pleading ponies, Celestia begins wonder if immortality is all it's cracked up to be.

Twilight's life is treading on very thin ice, and the only hope is for her to open her eyes, tonight. After a conversation with the doctor about Twilight's condition, Celestia enters her room and talks to her. After all, it might be their last night together.

Equestria and Yakyakistan are friends for a thousand moons thanks to the ingenious efforts of Pinkie Pie. However, Twilight still feels guilty about letting everything get out of control like she did. During the party, she approaches Princess Celestia and Prince Rutherford to issue her heartfelt apology in private. But as she soon discovers, she's not the only one who needs to brush up on her diplomacy.
