Twilight Sparkle has done much for Equestria. If it weren't for her, Equestria would be destroyed three times over by now.

So what happens when she has to leave? What happens when she and Spike are forced to depart from Equestria in order to fulfill their duties? And what happens when there's still important things at home to do?

Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash now have to get along without the one who leads them. All of Equestria is counting on them. Can they do it?

While talking to Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie about their respective pets, Rarity mentions some strange things that her precious Opalescence has been doing as of late. She is hoping that Fluttershy, as an animal expert, can offer advice.

When the TARDIS is unexpectedly pulled off course during her first foray into the wider universe, the Doctor, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and a somewhat-reluctant Twilight find themselves brought to the doorstep of a utopian alien city. While Rarity and Pinkie immerse themselves in two opposite ends of the local culture, questions that have gone unasked for centuries draw Twilight into the shadowy labyrinth of intrigue and deception that sustains a delicate balance of power in this "perfect" society. A balance that some will go to any lengths to preserve.

And as the mystery surrounding the cryptic messages left in the Doctor’s path continues to unfold, will the growing schism of distrust between Time Lord and Friendship Scholar over unspoken secrets cost both ponies more than either of them are prepared to lose?

After seemingly small lapse of judgment on Rarity's part, Spike is left in an emotionally vulnerable state. An attempt to cheer the saddened dragon by Applejack quickly leads to the development of affection between the pair. But Applejack is not the only one with feelings for the reptilian assistant. Twilight also realizes her romantic love for the dragon as he spends more and more time outside the library and away from her. But her white counterpart soon admits her own feelings for her long-time, scaly suitor as well.

Rarity gives a speech about the first friend she made. Making a point to remember and cherish the best of ponies.

The dreaded day has arrived for Pinkie. The day she must tell her best friends about her relationship with Rarity, who, personally, can’t understand why Pinkie is so worried about telling their liberal minded friends.

But, as the event unfolds, it quickly becomes obvious that her hesitation does not stem from where Rarity thought it would.

Applejack finds herself having to take a drunken Rarity back to her house. All does not go as planned.

When a Twilight experiment goes wrong, Rarity is taken to the Pokemon world, where she meets Ash and friends. But in a trainers' world, a new Pokemon is a BIG deal.

It's Hearts and Hooves Day, and Fluttershy has received a heartfelt letter from a secret admirer! But to her fortune and/or dismay, Rarity has taken it upon herself to help discover who this secret admirer may be. And so with a bit of mystery and magic, they embark on a journey that fills up a healthy portion of the afternoon.
