Broken, alone, afraid, and recalling only faint memories of her former life, a Hollow Pony awakens from her dreamless slumber. Lost in the shattered ruins of a hauntingly familiar world, she shambles onward in a quest to find herself, before she loses herself.

After Gilda's last encounter with Rainbow Dash and her friends, the griffon hadn't heard anything from her pony friend for a long time. It made Gilda think that Rainbow Dash forgot about her. Fortunately for Gilda, Rainbow Dash was hard-headed. Unfortunately for Gilda, Rainbow Dash was also high-strung and so stressed out of her mind that her train of thought was completely out of whack. With a few letters detailing Rainbow Dash's situation among other things, will Gilda be able to help salvage her friend's relationship? Or will Rainbow Dash leave Gilda's place as a husk of who she once was?

Gilda couldn't imagine Rainbow Dash failing. She'd do anything in her power to fix this, even if it meant admitting that she liked Rainbow Dash too.

Tired of not getting the respect he deserves from his friends on the weather team, Thunderlane snaps and quits. After they try to get him back and fail, Thunderlane decides to leave Ponyville in the middle of the night. He moves to Cloudsdale, where a certain griffon catches his eye. Thunderlane changes his appearance and starts his new life, while his friends try to track him down in order to apologize.

This is a soft reboot/rewrite of my Endingverse story Endings and Beginnings, which I have put on hold for the present.

After the devastating invasion of Equestria by human turned Emperor Jason Wright, the truth about the reasons for Jason's actions has begun to come out. Ponyville has been completely wiped off the map, its once cheery buildings reduced to rubble, and with it, the happiness and joy of everypony there once they began to realize just how they were all to blame for it.

The Elements of Harmony have barely spoken to one another since that time, all wallowing in their own grief and misery. Pinkie has left Ponyville and has lost her smile, Rainbow Dash hasn't flown since the invasion, Rarity refuses to speak about it to anypony, Applejack hardly leaves her farm, Fluttershy never visits Ponyville and is only seen wandering the edges of the Everfree Forest, mourning the loss of one of her closest friends and many of her animal friends as well, and Twilight has been working tirelessly to help rebuild all of Ponyville. They've hardly spoken since that day, and their friendships are all but over.

Meanwhile, across the ocean, a second human has arrived in the dilapidated city of Gryphonstone. Unable to visit the land of Equestria, which had been his dream, and after accidentally recovering an item that holds special significance to the gryphons, Gregory Graystone settles in and makes friends and allies in the crumbling city, some expected and others unexpected.

As the months pass, questions remain. How will the world react to the presence of a second human? How will Equestria recover from the invasion of Canterlot by the changelings? Will Jason Wright find out about this second human?

I would like to go back to Endings and Beginnings at some point and change things, starting with a certain arc, but I wanted to do a parallel story with some elements changed.

Some chapters may seem very similar to the original but I may or may not have changed things around or added something to it.

When the Crystal Empire reappeared, nopony realised that in its absence
the frozen 'wasteland' where it once was had actually been claimed. Taking
the sudden colony on their land as an act of war, hostile griffins invade
Equestria in retaliation for the loss of territory. King Claw sends spies
to steal the Elements of Harmony so the ponies can't use them, plus
assassins with expertise in both magic and poisons to remove Celestia and
Luna first. In the midst of the invasion Twilight uses every scrap of magic
she can to teleport the injured alicorns, herself, Applejack and Rarity far
away from the danger - a plan that works only up to the point where she
faints and they are flung into the ether with no way of knowing where in
Equestria they'll end up. Separated and not knowing who has survived, the
ponies must reunite and find the Elements to win back their land before it
and its citizens become just a griffin hunting ground. Yet Pinkie Pie can't
remember who she is and must rely on a stranger to protect her, Fluttershy
has to hide her identity, and Rainbow Dash sees an old friend in the
griffin ranks that makes her question where her loyalty lies when she needs
it most.

It's been years since Gilda lost her best friend. She's sat at the edge of the Abysmal Abyss almost every day since then, just trying to finally let go.

I am a nerd, simple as that. I like video games and anime, I will argue for an hour that Han shot first. But what I really like is comic books, specifically anything to do with the Green Lantern Corps. Heck, I managed to memorize all of the oaths for the various Lantern Corps so when I managed to find somebody selling all of the various Lantern rings, each made of silver, of course I immediately bought them. What I didn't expect when I received them was to be taken to another world. So now I'm stuck in a place obsessed with horse puns, lucky me. At least they have comics here or else I think I would go crazy.

This is a displaced/Green lantern story with humanized ponies. You have been warned.

Gryphons are a proud race, and Gilda is an excellent example of the breed. It's been a long, cold winter in the Everfree Forest waiting for Rainbow Dash to realize the error of her ways and ditch those lame new pony friends of hers, but Gilda's ancestors weren't quitters and by Orion, neither is she.

Surely one day, Rainbow will finally realize where her true loyalties lie. One day...

Author's note: All this came because I commissioned kdjade to do a picture of anthro Gilda looking annoyed about shoveling snow. I figure the ponies may be all enthusiastic about winter and manual season changes, but that doesn't mean everyone is. Me? I hate shoveling snow. Blargh.
