Sunny Starscout and her friends have achieved what many viewed as impossible, return magic to the land of Equestria. With its restoration, she heralds the reunification of the tribes and the rebirth of harmony in the world.

An old dragon witnesses this coming of a new age of friendship with a renewed sense of hope.

However, his friend is not so sure.

Today is an extra-special day for Discord. One he's been looking forward to all year. Or rather all day, since he had just learned about it previously from Fluttershy. A day that's all about him, all about his needs, his greatness, and how truly awesome he is. A day to feed his ego like the gluttonous pig it is.

Why, it's Discord's birthday of course!

I lost a bet with this guy. The deal was that if I won, he had to write a Luna/Derpy shipfic (which he's doing anyway, apparently). However, if he won, I had to write a Zecora/Discord shipfic. Mind you, he did neglect to say what kind of relationship it had to be. :D

Anyway, this is the result of my endeavours.

Discord has been reformed for quite some time now, and so far, everything seems to be going fine.

Fluttershy doesn't think so, however, so she sets off to talk to him.

After one of Twilight's sleepovers turn boring, Rainbow Dash comes up with an excellent idea: a challenge to see who can withstand Fluttershy's powerful stare. However, they quickly come to question whether that's even possible as this idea takes a sharp turn into a problematic direction.

Rarity has nothing to worry about. Fluttershy is the kindest, sweetest mare in all of Equestria. She wouldn't cause any trouble at the mall.

So why does Rarity still feel anxious? It doesn't help that a certain draconequus is lurking about, watching her every move and awaiting the chaos that Rarity's previous trips have caused.

Set in the same continuity as my TNG crossover fics, between "The Princess and the Dragon" (and also "Discord's First, Last and Only Friendship Report") and "The King Who Would Be Man", but Discord being Q isn't relevant to this specific story.
