Octavia has had enough. An insidious plague of tacky, hacked together electronic noise is spreading over Equestria, crushing culture and good taste as it passes. Well, at any rate it's really loud and annoying and the guy upstairs just won't turn the freakin' volume down.

Desperate to show the citizens of Canterlot the error of their ways, 'Tavi decides the only way to defeat electronica is from within. But for that, she must, y'know, actually be 'within'. And that means learning a few new instruments.

Oh yeah, and Lyra 'helps' about as much as she usually does.

In the wake of the Bugbear attack, Vinyl hears of Bon Bon's - Or, rather, Sweetie Drops's - true identity.
This, naturally, makes Vinyl curious. Could Octavia be hiding something from her?

Written for the "More Most Dangerous Game" story contest, hosted by Equestria Daily, based upon the Anthropology prompt.

Twilight Sparkle was annoyed to say the least, when her mentor Princess Celestia dismissed her warning of the Mare in the Moon and assigned her to go to Ponyville to supervise the Summer Sun Celebration. 'Make some friends' she says.

The thing is, Twilight already had friends. Friends she's had ever since she got into Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, friends she's taken for granted for many years, friends who she just happens to bump into before leaving Canterlot and invite themselves along to the celebration.

Between the crazy ponies in this little town and the crazy ponies who call themselves her friends, she finds herself at her wit's end while being constantly sidetracked in trying to prepare for the fabled Nightmare Moon's return. After all, it's not like these old schoolmates of hers are going to be able to help prevent eternal night and the end of Equestria as they know it, right?

Lyra and Bon Bon are working in a warehouse, but Lyra quickly wonders if there's more going on than meets the eye.

Based on a true story.

Things have changed since Lyra moved away to Canterlot. Every time she returns to visit Ponyville to see old friends, everything seems... off. Ponies seem subdued. Life feels washed out. Without love.

And she's determined to fix that.

Bon Bon and Lyra spend the day visiting the tourist attractions at Pony Island in Manehattan. Lyra can’t help but be Lyra.

This story is a standalone entry in my Lyra and Bon Bon Series. Everything in it will make sense even if you haven’t read the other stories.

Magical mishaps, moral dilemmas, and multiple contusions -- normal ponies don't have to deal with these things. Too bad Lyle Hartston isn't a "normal" pony. From the normal life of a human to an exciting and hectic life of a pony, Lyle's life is flipped upside down. Things can only get stranger for this brony when he wakes up in Equestria. More surprises await for him as he comes to meet a certain pony by the name of Lyra Heartstrings.
