Nightmare Moon comes back to Equestria after 1,000 years, just to be imprisoned again under the pretext of “Tax Evasion.”

I just wanna know, HOW do you pay taxes on the moon????

Twilight Sparkle discovers that the alternate timelines created by Starlight Glimmer in her misguided attempt at revenge did not, in fact, disappear when the original timeline was restored. Instead, they persisted as separate, parallel universes.

Never one to leave a job unfinished, she decides to employ the magic of friendship to restore those universes to a more harmonious state.

She begins with Nightmare Moon.

Upon being banished to the moon, Nightmare Moon found that she was able to communicate with Discord, also sealed away as a statue.

The two despise one another, but compared to an endless monotony, even two hated foes would rather talk with one another. Over time, Discord and Nightmare Moon begin to fall in love, right up until tragedy strikes.

It was a dark and spooky Nightmare Night, when I, the author, thought I would write, a spooky story. It was done in a flash, and all in all it was pretty a**.

When Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville to study the Magic of Friendship, the last thing she expected was to use the Elements of Harmony herself. But when, instead of killing Nightmare Moon, the Elements merely separate her from Princess Luna, Celestia decides the Night Alicorn could stand to learn a thing or two about friendship herself, along with Twilight. Secretly, Twilight hopes for something more than friendship. But can a being spawned of hate and jealousy even make friends?
