Celestia is having a relaxing, slow and boring day in her castle without any chores or responsabilities to attend to, that until Spike the dragon comes to give her an unexpected visit.

It is the middle of winter, it was cold that day, but that night was even colder. Freezing in her bed at night, Nyx seeks out the warmth of one who has always been there to love and comfort her. Winter is a season of rest, as Nyx is about to learn, though cold and as harsh as a Windigo's call, it can be a beautiful, and wonderful time of year.

Being Twilight isn't easy. You have a TON of responsibilities to do, such as studying, and helping friends with all sorts of problems. That's been Twilight's life in a nutshell for an entire week, and with a massive sleep dept to pay off, getting out of bed in the early morning isn't easy, especially when you can't even remember what it is you're suppose to do that day. Maybe Twilight will figure it out while doing her usual morning rituals such as brushing her teeth.

I was inspired by two things to do this-
First being the "Nothing Happens" stories by the awesome Bootsy Slickmane
Second was inspiration from the drawing in the icon, made by the awesome Atryl

Spike has been abandoned by his friends at the Grand Galloping Gala. While wandering the halls of Canterlot Castle, he finds himself stumbling upon a peculiar pony.

The Elements find themselves turned into plush dolls. And this time it's not Twilight's fault!

Meet Spike, Canterlot's greatest private investigator. How great? You've probably never heard of him. But he's had hundreds of cases, big and small. He's tracked down missing ponies, engaged in shoot-outs with smugglers, and almost single-handedly took down the Pastia, the biggest gang of organized crime to date (lawyers, politicians, and academics aside).

But he's put the whole P.I. game behind him, and he's ready to settle into a quiet retirement (or as quiet a retirement you can get in Ponyville). That is until a familiar mare pays him a visit about her sister's disappearance. Armed with with only a loaded CARA. millimeter and his years of experience and cynicism, he calls upon an old friend, a certain wall-eyed pegasus. He soon finds himself embroiled in one of his toughest cases to date, one that has the fate of Equestria resting on the shoulders of everyone's favorite purple and green dragon.

Author's Note: I suffer from an advanced case of Footnote Fever, and so I wrote it with footnotes. I am since discovering that every website doesn't have a good way of doing them. So I'm just making them silvery and putting them right after the paragraph they were in. Sorry 'bout that.

It’s been years since Gabby, an old-timer at the Griffon Kingdom Postal Service, was spry enough to fly a route to Equestria. That means it’s been years since she’s talked with her good friend Spike. A new invention may let her reconnect with Spike, but she learns that won’t be the only change it brings.
