One day, while Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are hanging out, Pinkie makes a good point that despite the fact that there are many interesting ponies in Ponyville, they never really seem to pay much attention to them. They may not know what they're really like, but you will. Lucky you.

Vinyl Scratch, aka DJ-PON3, is getting ready for her first out-of-town concert and she is stoked. As the day draws near, she catches a magic show by a traveling magician. But the mare's tricks are nothing to brag about (not that it's stopping her). But in confronting her, Vinyl will have to decide whether she can do better or be better.

You know the background ponies. BonBon, Lyra, Octavia and the rest. You think you know them. What they like, what they dislike.

You don't know a thing.

BonBon has had it with being a nobody. She has had it with being ignored. She has had it with being a background pony. Now, she's going to do something about it.

She's going to become a hero! And her friends too, possibly.

In the shadows of a forgotten realm, one mare trudges onward with music, and a cute little house cat, as her sole companions. Lyra Heartstrings has fought against a dark curse for more than a year, and it's now beginning to take a toll on her mind. Will she be able to keep everything together in light of her choice? Or will the spanning abyss inevitably claim her as one of its own?

What if the Mane 6 was made up of everyone's (or at least my) favorite background ponies? This is an adventure that should never have happened, but somehow it did, and because the standard heros were unavailable a team that no one expected had to come forth to save Equestria.

For some reason I feel we're all doomed.

Everyone knows what happened in Magical Mystery Cure. The Cutie Marks were switched around the Mane 6 except for Twilight and she had to fix it. What if instead of Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and AppleJack, it was Dr.Whooves, Lyra, Derpy, Octavia, Vinyl Scratch, and Bon Bon?

Luna sends the mane 6 to find a castle, that was one month ago, now she must go to everyone's favorite background ponies for help. Story was edited by opuscon789. I will be editing the first couple of chapters to make them better.

Just two background ponies...bah, you know the drill.

All 24 "Two Background Ponies Quickies" from my blog for all 26 episodes of Season Four (remember, two were two-parters, hence on 24 of them), now compiled in one collection with a bit of commentary in between each one. These were made once a week since November, each new one being written shortly after seeing the new episode for that week.

When Bon Bon (Secret Agent Sweetie Drops) gets a urgent phone call three days before Christmas, her and Lyra are forced to leave their celebrations and go fight the horrific Anti Claus, Santa Hooves' evil twin, to stop him from canceling christmas for all of eternity.

Note: Octavia is also a main character too.

"A spell that makes destiny less demanding on the caster, and makes your own choices become more prominent." It sounded perfect. Just what Princess Twilight Sparkle needed.

Ponyville didn’t need her, not really. She just needed a respite, however small. If she had to use magic, then so be it.

She took a deep breath and let her magic focus. She lifted her head, closed her eyes, and pushed more magic into the spell. It felt like teleporting.
