This here will be the meat of my fanfiction extravaganza. Here you'll find the longer epics, the dark journeys, the emotions, the sadness, the action, and the attempts at complex character arcs. All that nitty-gritty serious stuff, with an occasional comical tone. While I don't want to discuss too much in regards to schedule, I will say that I tend to take more time on these sorts of works as I feel there should be a higher standard set for stories such as these; in any narrative, I feel it's much more rewarding (and for me, challenging) to successfully create a cast of characters that a large audience of people can empathize and relate with backed by a stable plot, in contrast with creating a comedy or romp, which comes more naturally to me. In regards to how sharp of a comedic edge you'll be able to find in my "serious" stories, I don't imagine I could ever write something that lacks it completely as I love making people laugh. For me, something with a good balance would be Kung Fu Panda, for example, or the anime series Steins;Gate, but it all depends on the setting and tone, the latter of which may take subtle or much more immediate leaps and bounds from one chapter to the next in my own works. To be honest, part of me has no idea what will materialize in the fine details when I sit down to write (which I'd imagine many other writers could say as well), so the balance that I wind up with won't ever be certain with these "serious" narratives. But that's part of the fun, isn't it? Surprises are fun, and a more humorous chapter out of nowhere will only add to the laughs. It's a win-win.

This is basically the slice of life section, where the simpler, shorter works of mine will be found. I'm imagining most of these will be warm, uplifting, joyful little stories with laughs and happiness for all. We may see a darker one pop up here from time to time, though. Who knows?
