Celestia has ruled over Equestria for centuries since Luna's banishment. Solitary rule has compelled her to place the country's needs above her own. With no end to the monotony that is her life, she gets stuck in a bout of apathy.

One evening, she finds herself looking after a newborn on the verge of death. In saving the filly, Celestia is thrust into a role she never expected to fill in her entire life: motherhood. Will this foal be able to move Celestia's tired, cold heart?

Pinkie Pie loves having fun. Who doesn't? And Nightmare Night is one of the funnest nights of all. Everyone dresses up in costumes and goes around scaring everypony. And this year, Princess Luna is joining in the fun! She's really good at scaring ponies!

Except.....Luna's not having fun. Apparently, nopony told her that this was all pretend.

Oops.

The Flim-Flam Brothers fully anticipated a couple of failures every now and then. It's not like it mattered. After all, there was still tons of opportunity to go around, right?

Not exactly. The little song-and-dance cider business never really panned out. After a nasty argument stemming from a particularly embarrassing failure, the two brothers decided it was best to split up and take their ideas elsewhere.

Well, one brother has hit the jackpot, while the other hasn't been so lucky. And now, after a long period of silence, the brothers find themselves meeting face-to-face once again. Only this time, they're not strictly talking business.

It was fairly simple as far as assignments for the Lord Ambassador of Equestria went. Just a border dispute over a patch of land nocreature really wanted. But then came the summons back to Canterlot, so urgent that it only had four words:

Sometimes the quiet moments hold more than the loudest ones. Between the rush to create and the pressure to perform, there’s a space where words come slowly, and not every sentence demands to be seen or heard by others. Moondancer’s thoughts wander in that space, trying to find the balance between what she’s been told is “right” and what feels real. In a world of expectations, she’s learning that not everything needs to be completed on time, and not every feeling needs to be rushed. The meaning isn’t always in the destination, but in the moments of serenity along the way.

I was forced to write this, and I was forced to publish it. I blame the people who made me write this story. Aka, go bother this guy.

Five thousand years have come and gone since Twilight took the crown and became an alicorn. The centuries have not been kind to her; they took away her friends, one by one, till only she is left, an immortal ruling an eternal kingdom.

Now, even her memories are fading, her recollections slipping as she struggles to recall the only happy days in her life, the Pinkie Pie parties that ended too soon, the sound of a certain pegasus's voice.

Twilight Sparkle wants them back. And there is one spirit she thinks might be able to help her.

When Queen Chrysalis, completely undisguised, walks into Sugar Cube Corner and orders a dozen honey cupcakes, Twilight and her friends are understandably worried.

But when they go to look into it, they discover something that threatens to tear their relations apart.

This idea came to me in a dream, and I've decided to run with it.

While fleeing the Windigo with the rest of the pony nation, Twinkle Twinkle was stolen away from her family by a hungry dragon. However, she was not afraid. In fact, she was determined to learn all about the creatures before her inevitable demise. That was because Twinkle was a very peculiar little unicorn, with a mind that other unicorns considered defective, and quite weird. Can a strange unicorn who is unable to feel fear survive in the lair of a dragon, and save the lives of every pony and dragon alike when faced with a threat that they cannot defeat alone?

Twinkle Twinkle is about to find out. And in the process, she will bring the dragons a completely new gift they have never possessed before.
