After hearing Twilight's favorite Hearth's Warming story, Starlight was inspired to join the celebration... but it's still mostly made of ponies she doesn't know, and musical numbers only do so much.

Good thing there's a pony there who can empathize, and who's willing to listen. Maybe too willing...

When everypony else has left one of Pinkie Pie's parties, Fluttershy makes a personal confession to the pink mare but flees before seeing her reaction. Pinkie then leaves for a week to spend time with her family on their farm outside of Ponyville. As the return of Pinkie Pie draws closer, Fluttershy becomes anxious and starts to doubt whether she made the right choice in letting out her secret.

Angel Bunny knows he's bad for Fluttershy, and he knows that she's bad for him. But how can he leave her?

This has been expanded from its entry in The Writeoff Association's October 2014 contest, "Just Over the Horizon."

When a moonlight kitten unexpectedly enters Luna's life, she has no idea what to do. The creature knows no limits, pestering her during the day and night, even disrupting her work! Surely Fluttershy could help her get rid of that nuisance! ... Even if it can be adorably cute at times.

Fluttershy fell in love at first sight and has kept it to herself. Now that her crush has gained a pair of wings, she decides that it is impossible to be with her now. Walking around, she remembers some of her happy memories.

Written for "Closing Time," the February 2015 contest at The Writeoff Association, the original version of this story came in 12th. The rewritten version here takes place just after "Griffon the Brush Off" and owes a special thank you to Bad Horse for the inspiration and another to Thornwing for finding the cover image I wanted!

When Fluttershy crawls into a cave in order to save a small rat, Angel runs off looking for somepony to help her. As luck would have it, a simple earth pony happens to be walking nearby. And that earth pony would be you.
