King Sombra was defeated and the Crystal Empire was saved, but not long after that, Twilight and her friends learn of a pony intent on resurrecting the fallen king. Princess Celestia and the crystal ponies identify him as Temor, the adopted son of King Sombra.

No one knows where Sombra found him or why he chose to raise him and adopt him as his heir. Now it is a race against the clock to stop Temor from completing his goal and in the meantime, the former prince reminisces on how he became who he is today.

This story is part of The Equestria Tales series, although set in an alternate universe. It is a what-if story based on a line from Possession in the Crystal Empire.

The story occurs in early season 3 and diverts a bit from season 3 and onward.

[PLAN TO REWRITE]

A lot can change from one argument. Cozy Glow wanted nothing more but to be somepony else. Anyone else. Instead, she was this little powerless pegasus that did nothing but what her mother demanded... what her mother planned! She was sick of mother's plans. She was sick of her own name! So, the filly took it upon herself to pack her things and run.

She had some family in the Crystal Empire. Perhaps it would do her some good to visit them? Maybe they could understand her issue. Maybe they could help her?

What she didn't know however was that her greatest mistake would be stepping into the Empire itself. After she walked in... she never came back out.
When King Sombra took over and dragged the entire empire along with him down his one thousand year banishment a little filly was caught in the crossfire.

Some think that when you die your life flashed before your eyes. This is not what happens, for when you die you go on a walk with death and simply talk about what you have done. King Sombra is dead and is taking this walk, What will The Pale Mare have to say to Sombra?

Reality can often be a very difficult thing to deal with. Loss can be hard to bear. And, without warning, everything you once knew can be destroyed in an instance. All these lessons will soon be learned as Sombra reclaims his throne, and his dark intentions are slowly revealed.

There was once a old story from the Crystal Empire. One myth that was commonly told to scare filly's and colts on the darkest of nights. This story was of a figure who had control of strange abilities that were not related to magic, served as Princess Amore's personal guard and had sworn to protect the empire and all those who called it home as it's guardian. However, one day, this individual snapped, turning into a powerful monster that was known as "The Terror of Death". Many ponies believed that the beast was destroyed by King Sombra long ago, shortly after he replaced Princess Amore, but over the years, many have told this myth in different forms.

However... The thing about myths... is that they are truths to stories and legends that ponykind have long forgotten. Now, the Crystal Empire has been ruled by the twisted lies and half-truths that have deceived it's citizens for years. No one knows the full story... Nopony knows what truly happened... Everypony believes exactly what Sombra said... and the lies that he weaves.

Just when things seem bleak though, one mare runs away. Afraid to accept or defy her destiny and what she must do for the empire. But with her decision to run, she stumbles upon the last thing she ever expected... The Truth... And the guardian that knows it. Now reborn after being frozen away in the tundra of the Empire, the Adept Rogue that Amore had befriended has returned.

And he will make sure that the Crystal Empire is freed from this darkness.

Something that I had been working on for a while. I wanted to be able to celebrate over 300 followers and thank all of the people who have assisted me over the years. It has been a year since Princess Cadance had become the ruler of The Crystal Empire, a year that has primarily consisted in political pacification, economic stability and the recovery of the history of the Crystal Ponies, which was erased by Sombra, any attempt of remembering how it was before Sombra raised to power is met with mental blocks that not even the best unicorns can undo.

But news flies of a secret chamber being recently discovered in the Crystal Palace, filled with objects and books that not only date before Sombra but also tells of a moment in the history of the Empire that may explain why Sombra was so decided in erasing their history.

First story, please tell me what needs to be fixed for the improvement of not only this, but ay future story I may create.

This story is a sequel to Havoc: Godhood

My mortal life was like any other; live, eat, drink, sleep, and make sure the ever-looming fate of death doesn't get you earlier than it's supposed to. But I digress.

As anyone could guess (and know), my life would eventually meet its end at the hands of death, earlier than it was supposed to, in fact. But instead of Being whisked off into some afterlife as I expected, I was sent to a magical land, filled with colorful and talking ponies, among other species, who's personalities often featured great naivety and an amazing amount of gullibility.

I was also given many new powers as well. Powers in which, to the ponies' eyes, were very much godlike. Well, scratch that, they are godlike. As well as terrifying.

"Why would they find them terrifying?" you may ask, and I'll tell you this, would you like it if you saw thousands of people murdered in in a blink of an eye right in front of you? No? That's why my powers are terrifying. Because they kill more than they heal. They caused. . . havoc, if you will.

How did I cope with this new purpose of being a Goddess who thrived on the suffering of others? Well, by the time I'm writing this, I have gotten used to it a long time ago, probably about millions of years past. So instead, I'll start with when I broke out of that stone prison those ponies put me in. A lot of things had changed since I was imprisoned, and I was a little eager to find out what.

Oh, and don't worry, I'll also explain how I became a Goddess. That just comes a bit later.
