Twilight likes books. Twilight knows that not everyone does, but Twilight knows that everyone loves some level of knowledge. So, the obvious conclusion is a short guide to her favourite subject, yes?

Spoiler, Twilight is dead, giving up her alicorn immortality as Pinkie Pie, the final Element of Harmony, died. Her will includes three books of compiled knowledge meant for the reading of your average Equestrian, and not for prodigies like her; the first has been released, and it is magic.

Spike and the human Mane 7 are best friends and he helps them with everything no questions asked, one day the Principal asked them to stay the night at her place to watch over her son even though he can take care of himself.

They decided to make it a slumber party that ends with the girls giving him a special thank you gift for always helping and being there for them.

In this story, Spike is the same age as the human Main 7

This story is an indirect continuation of the "Sunset Saga" [Sunset and it's sequel For Want of a Dawn]. You do not need to have read either to enjoy this story. Also, this story follows show canon up to Season Five, ( between Amending Fences and the finale) however, Twilight Sparkle is not a princess or alicorn.

Pinkie Pie represents the element of laughter, but she isn't always so cheerful. She experiences depression, especially as a filly. Even now, she goes through unpredictable periods of extreme sadness. Or she would, at least, if it weren't for a certain mare. No pony besides Maud knows how often Pinkie Pie would fail to harness her element if it weren't for her. She provides Pinkie Pie with occasional doses of happiness disguised in the form of homemade cupcakes. The only downside is where she gets her main ingredient.

It took a few years to find her but find her they did. Well her body at least. For most, Chrysalis's death was something to celebrate. For those small few that cared for her it was a time to grieve. However one mare won't accept that she's dead.
