During a trip to Ponyville, to relax after a long week of work, Spitfire suddenly finds herself in an unknown world, one that seems broken and filled with conflict, along with monstrous creatures that had to be demons. From that point forward she encounters the Illidari, demon hunters that have pledged their lives to hunting down the demons and ending their burning crusade as they attempt to snuff out all forms of life that exist across the universe, only to eventually fall in with the Illidari to protect her home world from eventually becoming a target of the Burning Legion. Not long after that Rainbow Dash ends up on the same world and together they discover that Illidan Stormrage, the leader of the Illidari, has a plan to bring down the leaders of the Legion and bring an end to their foul crusade, only for fate to throw a couple of wrenches into their plans, forcing them to wait for a number of years before they can act against the Dark Titan and his forces.

Regardless of what happens to them, Spitfire and Rainbow will stop at nothing to bring down the Legion, even if it means getting involved with the forces of the Alliance and the Horde while trying to prevent another war from breaking out.

The two Royal Sisters ruled Equestria. They were its Protectors, its Guardians, its leaders, selected by the three tribes. Starswirl the Bearded, he was their mentor, he was there to guide them, he was there to counsel them. Perhaps, they may even view him as their father-figure. Many believed them to be true.

This was not entirely the case.

The Royal Sisters past is something none would venture on to question, how were their life before becoming a Princess, what feat of events that awakened the hidden powers within them? None would know except the King.

Now, the King, the true Guardian of Equestria, has returned. They were bound, not by flesh, but by the bond they shared. He shall return as promised.

The war against the Burning Legion is all but won. Gul'Dan is no more, his machinations at an end. Kil'jaeden and his armada are but ruin and Dark Lord Sargeras himself has been imprisoned, nevermore to return. While it has been costly, and some wounds may never heal, in the end, the champions of Azeroth have prevailed.

While clearing the last of the hated demons from the Broken Shore, however, a party of such champions finds themselves taking an unexpected journey through the Twisting Nether. When the demonic portal is destroyed, and mystical means of returning home fail them, the team must familiarize themselves with this strange new world, at least until a means of escape can be determined.

But despite how idealistic this planet may appear, there is a darkness lurking. They did not fall into this realm alone, and the enemy is not known for leaving a land unspoiled. The taint cannot be allowed to spread, least of all to an innocent world, and so it falls to the heroes to save a land of peace from the horrors of war.

It was a Faustian deal...I knew that going in. It was asking judgement day to come to Equestria, but I believed that saving her was worth any cost. I don't know if I was right or not, but I do know that we have to do it without her -- that I have to do it without her.

Inspired by My Dreaming Ends and My Jaws That Bite, My Claws That Catch. That and Toki being the best card in the entire Witchwood expansion.

Time. It marches on, regardless of your feelings, hopes and dreams, for it is the cruelest force of nature. The most unstable thing that can be tinkered with by mages. One wrong slip and the world you know is destroyed from the butterfly effect. It is a dangerous tool and one that few even see the effects of, let alone use for their own plans.

Starlight Glimmer is one of those exceptions, having used time magic in order to nearly end Equestria. It was averted by the heroic efforts of Twilight Sparkle.

There's a catch, though. You see, sweeping changes in the timeline don't go unnoticed, as several chronomancers watch over the timeline, carefully ensuring that nobody changes it without them noticing.

One of these, a gnome named Toki, travels to Equestria to tear the time tinkerer a new one.
