So this is a pretty simple story I pumped out because I was in a depression-fueled journey through immortality and its repercussions after seeing the finale of the show and realizing we've been right about it all since bucking SEASON 3! But whatever, it's fine, we're all fine. Just so you know I did NOT have any proof readers or editors so if you want to point stuff out that I got wrong, I'll happily fix it. Instead of being defeated and turned to stone, Discord made peace with Equestria, opting to rule a land where condemn criminals and outcasts are banished to.

But of course, all things are relative. After all, Discord's tyranny is benevolent compared to the warring Queens, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon

The windigos have been defeated, and their winter dispelled as a new age of unification dawns upon Ponykind. And Discord the Draconequus endlessly spins his schemes on to keep these mortals from committing their own undoing. In the process, he comes to meet with someone who, one day, will be of great aid to him. If he permits her to exist, after all.

The Royal Sisters have lived for a very long time. So long, in fact, they don't even bother telling anypony. It's lost history. But one day, they decide to tell you, the reader, what truly happened to turn them into the ponies they are today.

Decades after the founding of Equestria, the nation faces an existential threat -- a war with the dragons.

The dragons have proposed a truce. Luna and Discord are uncertain, but Celestia insists that they must give the dragons the benefit of the doubt, and accept the truce.

This turns out to be a mistake.
