In the year 2015, humans vanished off the face of the earth and those that remained were transformed into ponies, griffins, and other creatures. The others were thrown into the timestream to return as one of these creatures at a later time. Fast forward three millennia and a new society rose from the ashes, built by the returning humans and their children. The refugees of this era may not have it as bad as those in the past, but integrating into this new society still poses a great challenge.

This is a collection of stories taking place in the 'Ponies After People' universe created by Starscribe.

Story one. A pony experiences the world through himself after he's killed and watches his murderers bumble around.

All they want is something different.

Rarity refuses to love anypony not proper and perfect enough for her. After all, she only deserves the best! But, of course, it's a certain farm mare who starts showing her affections. And Rarity starts giving requirements for a proper courtship, but what'll she do when that farm mare completes all her requirements, all with that same unique charm?

Rainbow Dash knew from the start that she was the daughter of King Sombra. When they were in the Crystal Empire the first time, Rainbow had used shadow magic, powered by her strong wings, and moved around to inform Applejack about the Crystal Heart. Now, Twilight found out a few traces of dark magic Rainbow had left behind the first time. She immediately informed all the princesses and the mane 6 are in the Crystal Empire, hunting, unknowingly, for one of their own.

This is after Secrets and Pies but before Shadow Play.

For a pegasus, losing the ability to fly is devastating. Even more so if you already had a cutie mark in flying.
Despite his lack of talent, Phoenix is pursuing a career as a Canterlot defense attorney to help the helpless. The problem is that no one at all would hire a lawyer without a cutie mark in legal ability.
No one except the absolutely desperate.

An equine adaptation of the Ace Attorney video game series with original mysteries.

A Planeswalker as appeared in Equestria, with the a broken horn of a unicorn pony. In order to understand it's story Twilight and both her friends and the human Taylor must travel the multiverse of the Plans-walkers.

WARNING: This is NOT a Magic the Gathering lore friendly story. Most of the lore is going to be made up, as I'm not very proficient in MTG's history.

Echoed Beat is a simple watchmaker from Canterlot. On a business trip to Ponyville to sell his wares, he would never expect to meet any of the heroic mares known as the Elements of Harmony. In fact, he'd never met any of them in his life, and never had any real plans to.

When he arrives in Ponyville, however, he discovers that the Mane Six appear to already know everything about him. His past, his craft, what he carried in his cart and what he carries on his soul.

Echoed Beat never expected to be friends with the Elements of Harmony.
He certainly didn't expect them to be crying at his funeral.

The Elements of Harmony have a problem.
In the past they'd saved thousands of lives without breaking a sweat.
Why, then, can't they save a single stallion?

And worse, why does the same day keep repeating itself?
Why must they watch him die?

I'm a pegasus and I can't fly.

It wasn't always like this. When I was younger, it only mattered as much as I let it. Now it's like the whole world is out to get me.

I'll just have to try harder. I just have to try... and try again.
