I enjoy writing a certain way. I like word's - falling, reaching, peaking at the sky as they breach...
You. The reader at the end of the day, frayed as they are with the touch of rain, cloud, and mound's of grass covered in the smell of wet fur and smoke.
I want you to feel something...
I want to feel something...
I think that in the pursuit of being a better writer. Their is a mistake that is almost not a mistake.
Almost a hole. A trap.
For those that don’t know, I am in high school, not only that, but it’s also an early college program.
One of the classes I’m taking happens to be a college level English class (English 101). Now, I’ve always found the concepts behind high school English interesting, the same way I find Music Theory interesting. When picking up these ‘proper ways’ to write a story or a piece of music, I realize that these things I love doing are incredibly complicated underneath the hood.
Anyway it's been 3 years since my last blog do dad and nearly as long since the last chapter. The reason why is cause school thought that writing 20+ pages a week was a great way to teach over the great interwebs. This killed all motivation to write anything, and even now that school is done I still have not got it back. I'm very honestly sorry about how long it has been but at the same time will not guarantee a chapter soon, I know the path I'm taking at least so I'm not stuck there for once.
I am asking for help for a small part of the last chapter of Doggy Style.
Roxy is in your room looking around at things she had never seen or experienced before.
What should they be? And how should she react?
Also some ass to hold you guys off:
In 2015, the heavy metal group Disturbed recorded a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence". It became their most-popular recording by far, with 420,718,057 views on YouTube as of this moment.
Since I'm procrastinating like a madman at the moment, I thought I might as well make one random blog post to keep my hands from freezing solid. (I live in Canada, remember? The film "Snowpiercer" was based on the place. )
The question of the day is basically: what is your preferred writing method? Not why you write, just how you write. I'll start.
The purpose of this guide is to teach you, the writer, what you should and shouldn’t do to assure the quality of your stories, and to show you how to best communicate with other authors as well as your audience. We, the authors of this guide, understand this will come across as telling you what to do, but that is the point of any style guide or anyone offering advice. There are many ways of creating and viewing storytelling. We are merely providing our viewpoints on it.
Made by Queen MeowTigress. Thank you very much, Your PURR-fect Feline Majesty.
Please my FIMFiction users - consider going over to her channel and checking her out. She doesn't have a lot to offer at the moment, but who knows? Maybe with a bit of encouragement she may get better and start her own MLP show or something. Give her some words of encouragement if you decide to drop by her channel for me, will you?
I've got an unused sketch from a recent chapter and a story to share. This is the sketch, and yes, I can explain...
First, let me say that when I saw this I laughed my ass off, and it might get a colorized version later, so I am in no way disappointed with this.
So because of reasons, I was looking at the Galaxy Girls website.
Celestia? (Or Sunset Shimmer?)
Luna?
Twilight and also Applejack sort of
Rainbow Dash
Great news!
The prologue and the four chapters posted have been edited, and redone! It is the same story, same outcome as you know it, but the language and writing has become so much better! At least according to myself. SoloBrony has done some amazing work, and we have been in daily discussion about the story and how to tackle certain writing paths.
Sorry for the lack of update over the past few weeks. Yet I will try to keep all of you in the loop for future story updates and things of that nature, or things you just want answers to.
Now for the point of this blog.
I am still working on the last chapter of "Doggy Style", and that is right, the next chapter of "Doggy Style" will be the last. It should be out by before years end so I hope you all are looking forward it.
I have five shelves for varying levels of when stories will be read. See below the break for the names, descriptions, and an analysis.
Apparently, a court case was just decided based on the omission of an Oxford comma. Several ironies follow.
