Personally, while my preference is typically to self-edit with occasional help from prereaders, it is still important to have a good method of writing.
It just so happens that I'm nearing 141 stories reviewed, which I think is rather impressive. Over the course of that time, I've developed a system. Whilst not completely methodical, it is a check-list of sorts that helps me come to conclusions regarding the story and whether it is objectively good or not.
Snagging this from one of my friends(who gave their permission of course) naturalbornderpy since well, I am curious about how my own readers/followers do their own writing. So I just have some questions for you all to answer and I will start with that by answering them myself. Hope to see you all letting some light on what you like to do as well! 
Just sat down and wrote 3,400 words in three hours. Words flowed freely (mostly).
Unfortunately, I'm at least a thousand more words from end of chapter, so no post tonight. Definitely post tomorrow, though.
Yup, new story coming! A while back I asked for a name for my main villain. I had lots of great submissions, and it was super hard choosing a name! I finally went with Dr. Greygor submitted by The Daring Cookie. I want to thank everypony for giving me such great ideas! It was super helpful. ^-^ In fact, for the grey/pink mare below, I will use the name Mechanical Method given to me
Since I'm procrastinating like a madman at the moment, I thought I might as well make one random blog post to keep my hands from freezing solid. (I live in Canada, remember? The film "Snowpiercer" was based on the place.

The question of the day is basically: what is your preferred writing method? Not why you write, just how you write. I'll start.
I'm still a day's work away from releasing the next CSP chapter. Sinus headaches have wrecked my concentration.
But I've decided to explain my next project.
There were three core points to my thought process:
(1) Not a CSP/Maretian sequel (though large Ko-Fi or PayPal donations might persuade me to do that "return to the cave farm" bit you all keep asking for- the car repairs put me heavily in debt, and I'm missing my second most profitable convention this year)
I've been told that I do original characters well,* so I thought I'd share some of my secrets with y'all.

I touched on this in the comments section, when I answered Mr. Cold Ghost and aceina about the most recently published chapter of The Issue of Multiple Sunsets, titled "A Harry situation." However, I thought I would fill it in a little more. How, even though I do have a Harry Potter reference joke, and I introduce to magic user versions of Sunset Shimmer, they are more in line with the Dresden series. Essentially, I am going to explain a bit of the difference between the two, and why
... well, technically not me.
Someone actually plumped for the top tier of my Patreon, partly to get a particular cameo in CSP, but mostly to get CSP moving again.

Not much, I'm afraid. In the ,,My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" episode 'Feeling Pinkie Keen,' we learn that Pinkie Pie has some form of extra sensory perception that allows her to predict the future. This act of precognition could be labeled intuition on Pinkie Pie's behalf. But, is it really?
