Due to recent events, my release schedule will change a bit for this week. Instead of writing a new chapter for "Dreamwalker Dash" and "Letters to Cozy Glow", I will start a new project this week and will focus on that until Sunday.
I guess it's no secret that I've been working away on a sequel to The Laughing Shadow and am finally close to getting it done. But I got to thinking: it might be fun to do stuff in the 'verse that isn't always about cracking heads and dealing with shit above and beyond the norm an average person faces. One day Aplejek, one of teh most famus dirt ponies in all of teh wurld, wuz workin on teh farm becuz despite savin teh wurld 20 millonz of timz she was still a poor aple pesent wit no moniez. It wuz okay tho as farm pony wuz too stupid to relize she never got paid for saving teh world like teh other ponies did.
When something happens to one of Fluttershy's animals, she is devastated. But when Rainbow stumbles upon her, she takes Fluttershy back home and Rainbow does her best to calm and soothe Fluttershy's aching heart.

Faster than expected, the first fic from my list of upcoming stories is now released.
Originally, I wanted to give this fic more time. The idea was to study the writing style of Vanilla Mocha, the author I took this fic over from, so that I can try and write this fic like she would have, since the basic idea for the fic came from her.
First off, pony movie soon. Super hyped to see it, and if it gets spoiled for me I'll be devastated.
Now that that's out of the way, a quick update on where I'm at.
I put out an entry to the Barcast's Rarity contest on Saturday, which was immediately buried by the Saturday flood of stories. Check it out, I'd love to get some feedback.
This episode was obvious pandering to the fans – and that was before they put a ringed panda monster in the episode. Features of the episode include cameos by every major background pony, Derpy speaking, Doctor Whooves actually getting a personality, Steven Magnet’s long-awaited return, and ponies who are totally best friends and not lovers.
Seriously.
Really.
But I think it came at the expense of the plot.
