In Swarm of the Century Season 1 Episode 10. The Parasprites invade Ponyville eating all the food and reproducing at an alarming rate.

I have a theory the Predators in the Everfree eat Parasprites that why they don’t leave to hunt ponies.

But that not what I want to talk about. Twilight Sparkle changed some Parasprites with magic to prevent them from eating the remaining food. Instead they started eating anything else. Good thing they didn’t become carnivorous.
