NaNoWriMo! · 7:52pm Nov 2nd, 2017
So I may have jumped into my first NaNoWriMo a bit enthusiastically.
That being said I hope it works out, I have started an original fiction on the side, and I am working on a pony story just for you guys.

For those of you patiently waiting for the next update on my story: Pokémon - The Equestrian Chronicles...
Here's the overall progress (and sneak peek) of the next 6 chapters (11 if separate parts count);
If you noticed, the chapters labeled;
Chapter 9: Sean's Story pt. 1 - Johto and Sinnoh (A)
Assessment days seeing what I could possibly do in a job situation is, at least, partially starting tomorrow and Friday (I guess there will be three assessments at least so unless something is up and there's something more- this means for the next maybe month or two depending on schedule I might not update stuff as quickly.
The prologue arc and chapter 1 put together are already over 14k words.
Have fun reading when the thing goes up. I'ma publish the entire prologue arc plus that first chapter.
Right now though I'm just stuck in a productivity hole. Don't really feel like doing anything.
WEll we made it over 300 followers, lol this is awesome so I figured screw it I'm releasing a bit of cringe the first book I've ever written, so have fun reading terrible story. The first story I had an idea of. Oh wow this is going to be horrible and hilarious. SInce I haven't read this thing in a long time, but Teenage me loved it. So grab some popcorn and let's have a fun laugh at old me, and my old baby XD
Search under users, then click 'sort by' stories. You will see me... Bendy, I am number 2. I am beaten by TheEvilCookie. The user seems to be gone. But I don't know if I can spam past 432 stories. Maybe if I keep spamming Anon fics.
This is me in a nutshell.
I know it's just a simple doodle...
I have completed the entire first draft of The Runaway Bodyguard. It is 180,000 words long. I had planned for a novel half that length, but the best characters take over and only a fool decides not to listen and write down what they have to say.
...does word count affect how likely potential readers will, y'know, actually read it?
Turns out my 'Liked Stories' bookshelf has over three times the amount of words than the total amount of clopfics involving Twilight Sparkle on this site...
Clopfics with Twilight Sparkle:
My Liked Stories bookshelf:
It's almost 3 AM and I've been awake for about 19 hours... When I'm tired I do stupid shit like this...

...What can I really say? Well, should probably start by saying that this image, apparently, is part of the Equestria Girls 'tell-all' book, giving us a bit of insight into our 'beloved' protagonists. And this is what they think about those that don't instantly grovel to them with apologies about what horrible people they are.
The alternative title for the message I got regarding my new story. Oh, and I submitted a new story. Huzzah~
Now, if you excuse me, I gotta go work on a lab report that's due on Monday.
So, yeah, Blueblood hasn't updated. I've fallen into writers block. I realized that I'd been writing without really getting into Blueblood's head, and I get the feeling I should start the latest section again. So I'm working on that. I'm also putting more effort into finding a job and other certifications. I'm also enjoying a few games I found on Steam for really cheap and I'm working on that play about the Popes I've mentioned. Let me tell you, once I started researching the broader
So, I've decided to make this thing. I've decided to question something that, I've seen to be very prevalent on this site concerning certain people who have an interesting set of character traits that result in a high follower count. Though I'm certain this has been done before, here are my thoughts on people who garner negative attention, but have high follower counts.
So. There's been a bit of news regarding the MLP movie. Specifically voice actor announcements and character design reveals. If you don't mind spoilers and haven't seen them yet, you can see them on EQD here and here.
I'll give you a minute. Note that that second link will take you to a fifth image. More after the break.
First draft of Chapter 12 for What They Expect to Give is at 3,345 words so far. It's not really going in the direction I originally envisioned it, but maybe that's a good thing. I had a kind of manic, slap-stick comedy thing going on in my head, but on paper that might come across as jarring. I'm wondering if what I have so far might already need some slimming, though...like maybe I can still achieve what I'm going for without so many words? It'd give me room to do other things this
You can find me @Calchexxis if you have any desire to follow me. I tend to ramble a little about writing, although if people start following me I'll probably start talking more about my writing, Dead by Midnight, and my other projects.
Cheers,

Currently the chapter comes in at 10k. I thought about releasing it where it's at right now, but I think it needs at least one more scene after the one I'm currently on. My PPSEFF (Pre-reader Proofreader Sometimes Editor Friend Forever) said a couple things that made me think about the pacing, and I decided the story needs to be sped up a bit, so the next chapter will see things moving along faster than they have.
So this one was written for Quills and Sofas fic contest a little while back. A week or two.
There were three prompt words, and you had to use two of them. The three words were accidental, denied, and intertwined.
Since I’m an overachiever, I naturally used all three.
IN WHICH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
Note To Self: A pot of coffee will make the part of the brain that makes writing happen function, apparently. Also, living on a heavily forested hill gets annoying when all your trees are deciduous, leaves are fallen and wet, and your driveway slants at a steep angle -- this is the second time in as many weeks I've had to rake my driveway. So...
