SPOILERS FOR FUTURE SPLINTERSHARD CHAPTERS! PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Can you guess what happened?
'cause, y'know, splintershard prequel.
Aw yeh. New chapter. :V
Spoiler alert for the current latest chapter as of this blog post: Starlight ain't coming back anymore.
The story of Sunbeam is drawing to a close. And a lot of rambling about stuff that happens.
'cause, y'know, diary stuff. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup, it's one of those chapters tonight.
Just sayin'.
She didn't expect it, Starlight didn't expect it, the ponies who (maybe) were cornering her didn't expect it.
Y'know, just magic stuff.
The train groaned beneath her. It was slow at first, making more grinding noises than movement. Dust rained down on her head as the entire vehicle shuddered. Another groan rose from underneath, a little higher-pitched this time. One final jolt set it into motion.
"Look outside! We're moving!"
Slowly, they began to pull away from the station, inching ever so slightly further forward with every second.
And then they stopped.
Splintershard update. :V
That's it.
That's the blog.
Then again, you can just download it directly from the story page itself. :P
'cause I'ma be ropin' in a character from a different popular story I've got hangin' around.
Careful now, we're on the slippery slope and we're ridin' fast towards some major events! Pretty soon I might have to bump this story up to a T rating!
I'ma go vibe in the corner with my 5 prologues. :P
In all seriousness, I didn't expect for it to get in, anyway. Unlike the ongoing Pony-Me reboot, the prereading team I've got for that story normally doesn't tackle smaller things like grammatical mistakes that Grammarly and Microsoft Word don't catch.
Not asking for much. Maybe take a look at Splintershard? I've spent an awful lot of time working on the story lately, and it's been pretty disappointing to see it be pushed out of the updated stories column too quickly to gain very many views, even after promotion.
Well, go crazy, I guess. I do have story pitches made for some of 'em already, but feel free to build off of those as well. Splintershard's actually one of the stories that were originally on that list.
'Cause holy heck if I tried pursuing more than what I have being written right now, I'd freak. And probably add a whole lot more stories to my story graveyard, too.
