Sick of seeing Rainbow Dash lazing around in her apple orchard, Applejack bets that the pegasus couldn't last a full year working the land, a challenge Rainbow refuses to back down from. As the seasons pass though, the two ponies find their friendship growing stronger as they spend time working together, through good times and bad. While the days grow shorter and cooler, the two friends find that maybe they have the chance to become something a little more.

Applejack takes it upon herself to get Big Macintosh a date with one of her friends.

Snow. Everywhere there is snow. It lies in neat layers on roofs, in intricate crystalline networks in the branches of the bare trees, in hard-packed pathways underhoof. No clouds are in the sky to trap any of the sun's heat; light scatters off the snow in an infinity of golden glittery flecks and dances away back into the sky. The air is still, the main street of Ponyville quiet on this Tuesday midmorning. The ponies outside go about their business quickly, bundled in scarves and woolen hats and winter saddles and covered boots. Twilight Sparkle is one of these few.

When the Crusaders feel like they've tried just about everything to get their cutie marks, Apple Bloom has the idea that maybe they're meant to be matchmakers for all of Ponyville! But before they turn their skills on just anypony they decide to test their plan out on Big Macintosh first. (Just a note, this was started before the plot of Hearts and Hooves was even released. >_< )

With the time she has left, Rainbow Dash seeks what is truly important in life before moving on.

Rainbow Dash has been suffering from recurring nightmares. Each time she closes her eyes, the dreams get more and more horrific. So far she's been able to hide them from most of her friends, but that all changes when she wakes up screaming in Sweet Apple Acres. Now, it's a race against time, with Dash's very life and sanity on the line. But what is causing her horrible night terrors, and how can they be stopped? It's going to take a bit of Pinkie Pie ingenuity, a little Zebra and Alicorn magic, and a very special kind of loyalty to save the cerulean speedster. A kind of loyalty most ponies know, as love.

Being a well respected life-guard on a tropical island sounds like it’d be the best job ever, but you find your life becoming quite complicated when you become fast friends with a tourist and fall head over heels for her. Author's Note: Oh yes, I went there. This is a female perspective fic. I recall someone saying in the SFG Thread: "Why are all these stories in a male perspective? It's not like I mind, it's just I'd like to see some female perspective fics out there."

So, as the ever exploring type, I decided "Why the heck not?" and made this fic from a female point of view. And honestly, I like how it turned out. I do hope you enjoy it.

Side Note: I talked with Coffeebean while writing this fic and actually asked him to write a part for this fic. A more... Hot and heavy part.
