After her reformation, Diamond Tiara thought her life could only get better. Unfortunately, she forgot to factor one vengeful mother into the equation. This is what happened next, in her own words.

It is a little known fact that the prettiest garden in Ponyville is owned by a certain teacher... Although Cheerilee wouldn't agree. There is another one that is much more beautiful, in her opinion. And when Diamond tiara is there to help with some gardening, Cheerilee has the chance to tend to it.

"Just 'cause she's never cared about anypony else's feelings doesn't mean we shouldn't care about hers." Kind words spoken with the purest intention can still be mistaken. Diamond Tiara cared a great deal for one pony's feelings in particular, and becoming the pony she wanted to be had meant hurting her.

If diplomacy is an art form, then it's surely the most boring one of the lot. After a full day of fruitless trade negotiations with the Crystal Empire, I'm about ready to give up my royal title if it means avoiding more mind-numbing talks tomorrow. In the meantime, though, at least there's a nightclub in town. And from what I've heard, her Highness Princess Flurry Heart is its most frequent, infamous, and insatiable patron.

On second thought, maybe this trip won't be as tedious as I thought.
