It's been a week since the Royal Wedding, and Twilight and her friends are back in Ponyville, safe and sound. However, ever since they returned from Canterlot, all of Twilight's friends have gone through large bouts of guilt over ignoring her warnings. But of all her friends, Twilight is most concerned about Spike, who keeps waking up in the middle of the night with severe panic attacks.

Despite all her best efforts, Twilight hasn't been able to get her assistant to talk about his dreams, or make him feel better about himself since that day. But after another restless night, Twilight has had enough, and refuses to let him go until he talks about his dream.

However, when Spike finally confesses his recurring nightmare, he talks about what could've happened if Twilight never saved the wedding. And what she discovers, is much worse than she could've ever imagined.

After many, many years of no contact, Fluttershy's mother, Sky Heart, has invited her to dinner at her house in Cloudsdale. Fluttershy is reluctant to, due to her mother's past abuse towards her, but she agrees. Maybe she can reconcile with her, and things between them will be better. It's wishful thinking, but Fluttershy is hopeful.

She brings Discord with her, because if she's going to be mending long-broken bonds with her mother, she wants her to meet her friends. Yes, even the ones that are immortal lords of chaos. But, as Fluttershy finds out, things won't go as she hoped.

(This oneshot takes place at least a few months after Twilight's Kingdom, and was written before season 5 came out. Reading my other story, Teenage Angst in Cloudsdale, would help give you a tiny bit of background about things referenced in this story, but it isn't necessary. Any Fluttershy/Discord is meant to be platonic, but you can read it as romantic if you want to.)

In determination to grow closer to Fluttershy, Discord finds a spell to change his appearance. With his new look, Discord begins to grow closer to his friend more than ever, but then suddenly develops...affections? Will Discord be able to keep his transformation under control? Or will his feelings get the best of him?

After the events of The Ending of the End, Discord couldn't help but feel melancholy over the events that unfolded differently than he would have liked. Being encased in stone for practically an eternity isn't very much fun, especially as one who has suffered it first-hand can tell you.

Sometimes life's lessons are easiest to learn in our old classrooms, and with our old teachers. Standing on the cusp of her journey as an instructor at the School of Friendship, Scootaloo hopes that her very first teacher can offer her some insight.

Third place in the of the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting 'Colorful Characters #5' contest. The colorful character was Cheerilee, and the prompt was "patience".

Discord and the gang find themselves hiding in a broom closet in yet another dangerous mission. Discord finds himself crowded against the back wall with a terrified Fluttershy right next to him. He'd like to let her know that he'll keep her safe.

He'll have to be quiet about it, though.

Just a little blurb I whipped up last night in a random instance of inspiration, with the typical dangerous MLP-esque advienture that I don't want to make into an entire story. I'm pretty sure it's even longer than planned just so I could throw some dumb jokes in there. But if it makes you smile, then I've accomplished my mission.
