The water has always soothed me. The sounds of waves always makes me feel calm, makes me forget my sadness for just a moment. The sea is the tears that once fell from all the gods as they mourned their own loss. And that is comforting, in a way. I feel like I’m not alone, next to the ocean.

I never realized what the ocean had in store for me.

Long ago in the mythical land of Equestria, there lived a Stallion known far and wide for his bravery and courage. From the frozen mountains of Vanhoover to the dusty plains of Appleloosa, everypony had heard of this Stallion at one point in their life, and the stories told about him could almost be seen as legends, since they held such a special place in the hearts and minds of everyone who heard them.

Yet nopony knew his name.

On a stormy night, a group of ponies taking shelter at the town inn are startled by a loud banging at the door.

Right before Nightmare Moon's defeat, she made a prophecy, one predicting the end of the world at the hands of somepony close to Celestia herself. When the pony comes to be, and Celestia falls in love with the newest princess, she tries to forget the dark prophecy and live a happy life, but as time goes on, she begins to fear for the sake of the kingdom. Will this inner struggle drive her to madness, and what will she do to the pony she believes is from the prophecy, her daughter?

Taking a short cut across the beach was a bad idea during hurricane season. One arrived without warning, and Gray spotted a sturdy looking shed, he sprinted towards it for cover. But then a powerful wind swept him up...

....Princess Celestia looked out the window from her throne at the heavy storm. She went back to her paperwork, which was blown from the table by an unseen wind. There was a flash and a silhouette flew through the air, rolling to a stop at the bottom of her dais...

As the newest Princess of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle will have to face many changes and challenges in her new life. However little does she realise that one of the major changes was set in motion a long time ago, as nopony can come out unscathed from a fight with a demigoddess. Now however, days after her coronation Twilight will have to face the consequences. And the decisions she will have to make in the nearest future may very well change Equestria forever.

That's what a father does; he protects his foals no matter what.
