Twilight's power, along with that of Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, has been claimed by Tirek. Drunk on power, the demon-centaur is unleashing destruction upon Equestria, his reign of terror just beginning.

But there is hope. A crystalline chest, a gift from the Tree of Harmony, able to be opened by six keys. Keys which Twilight has now claimed the last of. All they can do is hope, hope that whatever is contained inside the chest is enough to stop Tirek.

And then something goes wrong ...

An elderly stallion stands atop a cliff, looking at the valley below, at the black clouds rising from burning shrines and temples. The temple behind him is the last one standing.

And then she arrives. The sacred Princess herself.

The warm, beaming smile that once decorated her face is gone. Her eyes do not eminate kindess, but hatred.

As he looks at her, he sees something else, something hiding beneath the flaming veil.

But what happens when she discovers a book that can lead her to the knowledge and power of all reality. Being a egghead and all, she couldn't resist the temptations of such things.
Now she must travel through the realm of Daemons to get there.
Will she return with her sanity? Or will she become their playthings?

My name is Hayseed Pear. I’m ten years old and I don’t think I’ll get any older. I’m scared for myself, but I’m more scared for all you in Canterlot. I’m writing this down hoping that someone sees it before it’s too late.

(Based on the Robert Bloch story of the same name.)

After decades of brutal warfare, humanity has finally breached the defenses of Equestria, and now strikes at Canterlot itself. High above the walls of the city, Celestia watches the world she built burn around her. Her gambit has failed. Humanity has endured her assault. Now all she can do is wait and watch as the war she started comes to an end.

Normally a fic like this one-shot goes the followingway.

Equestria appears on Earth.

Earth get's magic poisoned.

Conflict ensues between pro and anti-conversion forces on both sides.

Then Author tracking occurs depending on how much you like humanity as a whole. Yada yada yada.

This fics merely takes two simple facts about the Bureau genre and changes them: first the idea that Celestia herself is leading, or even aware, of the Bureau.

And second, that the earth attacked is a real life esc earth.

No, the rogue Bureau decided to attack Earths belonging to multiple other shows, books, movies, games, etc....and none of them are all that happy about it.

They also don't really do that well at the conquering part.
