GLaDOS is free of Chell, free to continue testing, when she discovers a portal gun Wheatley tried to repair with duct tape. When the portal gun catastrophically fails, the enrichment center, GLaDOS, and Chell are literally dropped in the middle of Equestria. The mute test subject soon finds the world of ponies far more welcoming than the human world. But GLaDOS sees possibilities. Let the testing begin... for science.

After a summoning mishap, six champions from Runeterra's League of Legends arrive in Equestria. At first, they are focused entirely on getting home, but soon find out that it might be more complicated than they thought when Discord decides that he can use them for his own ends. Sometimes, heartache is a place, and you can leave it. But more often than not, it is both point and line, and though you leave injury behind you... you perhaps never truly are free. It lingers. Rainbow Dash learns this the hard way when Spitfire gives her free tickets to a Wonderbolts show in Cloudsdale as she's recovering from a terrible injury.

Love is a like a garden, Rarity had always known that. You had to take care of the garden that was love: water it with affection, weed out petty fears, nurture the timid intimacies. But the weeds that suffocate the flowers and feast on the trees can strike with little warning even when the utmost care is taken. The rot of despair can eat away at the green no matter how much love is poured into a relationship.

Rainbow deals with the possibility of a flightless future in the aftermath of a brush with death with help from Rarity. Many waters cannot quench love; perhaps not even crippled wings can dampen it for long.

(Sequel to Where the Sun is Silent. You do not really have to have read that story to enjoy this one. Know only that Rainbow and company were pawns in the sick games of an elder god of chaos and that she was seriously injured.)

Everything started out normally. Spike was away on business, Twilight and her friends were having a sleepover, Ponyville was quiet. Nothing to worry about.
