My first My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fic.

After a stormy night in Ponyville, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are getting ready to gather at their clubhouse to try to think of how to get their cutie marks for the day. Little do they realize, that fate has other plans for Scootaloo, while a mishap with magic leaves Twilight Sparkle powerless.

September 17th, 1862 became the single bloodiest day in American history when a battle was fought along the Antietam Creek near Sharpsburg, Maryland.

Yesterday, Fluttershy hummed happily as she watered her garden.

The two events are not unrelated.

A border exists from a result of a uneasy truce between humans and pony kind in Equestria. Over 100 years have nearly completely cut of the cultures of the two. Dr. Moss, who studies humans from history and what he can glean from the border, is threatened to have his funding removed to teach his subject at Canterlot university because of the lack of interest. He resolves to make a dangerous crossing into the human land to see what has changed since the war.

For the small town of Ponyville, the eve of Nightmare Night will forever be seen and viewed as a tragedy and murderous event. Pinkie-Pie, the Party Pony of Ponyville, has been accused of murder by a Health Inspector working for a rival chain of bakery and sweet shops in Equestria. Even with a powerful defense, Pinkie-Pie was charged with one count of Murder, but fled Ponyville soon after, her friend Fluttershy honorably taking the fall for her escape and herself being imprisoned for being an Accomplice. Five years later, a Detective Pony, Mr.W.Quill, will learn and discover the mystery of Pinkie Pie's Dark Descent, and the grim, bloody trail that was left in its wake. How the story ends...only through hearing the tale will the Detective discover it. He is willing to unravel the truth behind a plot of sinister evil...and will learn what a Pink Mare had to do, to save herself, and a town under siege

This is the tale of a baker, who had everything...and a colt of Power took her friend away, destroyed her happiness, and accused her of a most atrocious crime...and in her sorrow...a new mare was born. Never Forget...NEVER...Forgive.

This is the prequel to my first story, Saving Private Bloom. This one is told by Twilight, as she and her squad set out to risk their lives to save one pony. Twilight is working her on her largest essay for the princess so far. Finding Ponyville is too distracting, she takes a job as the winter caretaker at the Overhoof Hotel. To keep her company during the long winter, she brings Spike and the rest of the six with her. However as time passes, Spikes begin to see glimpses of the hotels blood stained past and future. Meanwhile Twilight starts to lash out at her friends and goes into isolation in order to finish her project. At the same time, she is coping from a cider addiction. As Twilight friends grow more and more concerned, things take a turn for the worse when Rarity discovers what Twilights been working on. This story is based off the movie version of The Shining.

How long can this war possibly last? Are they real, or is it just my dreams? Have I truly lost my mind?

Even if it is insanity, it's the only escape I've got from this jungle...

After an argument with Luna, Celestia realizes that she is the only creature in Equestria who cannot sleep in. She enlists Twilight to help, and the two of them come up with a spell that will allow her to spend the night on a different world. Unfortunately, all their research failed to reveal that the world they sought was populated. Now, the Princess must decide whether to continue with contact, or destroy the only non-Equestrian witness to their existence.
