James is a socially-challenged introvert fresh out of college; and with nothing to show for it.
Between fair-weather friends, sleazy bosses, and years wasted for a degree not worth the paper it’s printed on when looking for work? His outlook on life has gotten pretty jaded to say the least. Even his family ties and childhood faith, things he once centered his life on, seem to have lost their luster. His life seems to be going nowhere and he spends his time watching MLP: Friendship is Magic as a closet brony wishing that he could have one chance to make a life for himself. A chance for something, anything, to shake him out of the rut he is in.
He gets his wish after meeting the crazy owner of a mystical curio shop called Odds and Ends.
Now, James finds himself in the middle of Equestria where survival means finding a way back home or earning a place for himself in this new world; Easier said than done when he finds out that the Brony’s paradise holds a dangers and secrets that, unsurprisingly, weren’t mentioned in a show targeting young girls.
If he’s lucky, he might find help from Equestia’s inhabitants; possibly even his favorite pony! If his luck goes as usual? He will have to fall back on human ingenuity and the strength of his faith. Put simply? He’s going to wing it and pray he doesn’t die.

My name is Orion and I'm a human, well sort of. I have a condition. That condition has led me to have to be under the care of military scientists. And yet I find myself in a place I don't belong.

Equestria is such an awesome place. Kind natives and friendly attitudes make it hard to ever consider leaving. And an incredibly awesome cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane adds a bit of incentive to stay, too.

But, as a human who somehow wound up in Equestria (As a pony, no less!), you knew you'd have to leave some time.

After returning to the realm of humans, you plan to return to your mundane life as an average person in college. That is, until the previously mentioned cyan pegasus appears to have come through the portal as well. And to top it off, she's been transformed into a human.

Gold Star is a really talented pegasus, able to move as fast as a shooting star. (Though some say he only did that once) A tragic event forces Gold out into the world, forcing him to move from town to town and steal to survive. When he gets too close to Ponyville, however, a mare with a rainbow mane and her friends capture him and he is forced to stick around.

First Fan fiction please tell me if it was bad or not. I would love to continue but I would need help to improve content. Also tell me where I need to improve so that can get fixed as well. Thank you and please enjoy the story.

Rainbow Dash has never mentioned a brother -- and for good reason: Stormdrift is a shy, cheerless stallion known best for living in his Wonderbolt sister's shadow. After being forced to move from Cloudsdale, Stormdrift refuses most social contact -- until Pinkie Pie forces herself into his life, intent on cheering up the stallion the best way she knows. However, when Pinkie learns that parties and mounds of sugar cannot soothe every tear, she dedicates herself to learning what true joy really is -- but the answers she finds are not at all what she expected.

They say good things can be found at the end of a rainbow. I just happened to he hit in the face by one. Turns out it was a pretty cool rainbow colored pony. She shows me around and we start hanging out and stuff. Next thing we know we're friends and maybe a little more...

It's my 18th birthday and I'm about to blow out the candles when I realize I don't have a wish. Thinking of the thing I want most in the world, I blow out the candles and black out.
