Cloaks and Magic
I woke up very excited for the day as it would be my chance to see Ponyville. I practically ran down the stairs and nearly ran into Spike.
“Uh, Twilight who is this?” Asked Spike as he leaned over to get a better look at me. His eyes widened in shock as he took in that I had wings as well as a horn and he yelled “ AND WHY IS HE AN ALICORN?!”
Twilight walked in and just looked at me with that look that said I had to explain everything.
With a sigh I said “I’m Void Walker, who are you?” I asked
“I’m Spike, Twilight’s number one assistant.” He said proudly
“Well Spike, I have a story for you.” I said
[Insert long and boring recap here]
“So you’re an alien who turned into an alicorn, wow.” Was what he said after I finished.
“Yep that pretty much sums it up.” I said
“Well if you’re done we need to get Rarity’s so she can make you a cloak.” Said Twilight
“Why do I need a cloak?” I asked
“Because if everypony finds out that you are an alicorn and a male alicorn as well, they’re going to freak out.”
“I’m going to guess that’s a big deal?” I said knowing it was a big deal perfectly well.
“Big deal?” She said, “It’s a HUGE deal!!! There hasn’t been a male alicorn in thousands of years!!!!
“Okay, okay I get it big deal, sorry I asked. Can we go now?” I asked slightly scared
“Yeah lets get going already.” Spike said.
“You just want to see Rarity.” Twilight said
“Do not! I am just bored!” Spike said
“Uh-huh sure.” Twilight said with a smile
From the way this was going I could tell this was going to last probably the entire trip there so I just followed Twilight until
I heard
“We’re here.” From Twilight
Snapping back to reality I said, “Well this is a nice place.”
“I’m glad you think so darling. Please do come in.” Rarity said as she stood in the doorway of Carousel Boutique and ushered us in.
“So what is it you need made?” asked Rarity
“He needs a cloak to hid the fact he is an alicorn so we don’t have a freak out in town.” Said Twilight
Rarity went in to a back room and came out with a tape measure and took a few measurements before asking “And what do you want it to look like?” She asked
“Whatever you think is best.” I said
Rarity went into a back room after she finished with me. After a couple hours of talking with Twilight and Spike Rarity finally emerged with my new cloak and I was shocked at how awesome it looked. It was simple but that didn’t stop it from looking great, it had a hood, was black on the outside, red on the inside, and had a thin purple border on the edges.
“Thanks, it looks awesome!” I said
“You are very welcome, and before you ask you don’t owe me anything it was a gift to a friend.” Rarity said
“Oh, come on I have to pay you back somehow.” I said hoping I could repay her for the cloak in some way.
“Well, I do need somepony to watch Sweetie Belle tomorrow while I go to Canterlot to pick up some new fabrics, could you watch her for the day while I’m gone?” She asked
“Yeah I could do that. What time do you want me to come over?” I replied.
“About twelve o’clock would be fine darling.” Rarity said
“Ok see you then and thanks again for the cloak!” I said as I walked out after Twilight and Spike.
“So, Twilight what’s next?” I inquired
“Well since that took a while I was thinking that I could teach you some magic like basic levitation.”
“Awesome!” I exclaimed
A few hours later….
“Wow, this is the fastest I have ever seen somepony learn to levitate something on their first day using magic.” Twilight said
Yes after one of Twilight’s infamous lectures (which actually wasn’t so bad), and after an hour of practice I finally was able to levitate objects when I wanted.
“Okay it’s getting late and you are going to need your sleep for tomorrow, trust me.” Twilight said
“Ok, good night.” I said before heading to the guest room and falling asleep.
