Chapter 15: Apologies and Stalkers

Chapter 15

I continued to hug Princess Celestia for many minutes. She was still tensed and shaking, but she was slowly was beginning to ease up. She sat down while still in the embrace and rested her head on my shoulder while I began to stroke the back of her neck and she began to sob. I just held her tight as she did.

I heard the gasps of may ponies behind me, but I didn't care right now.

Eventually, Celestia began to pull back and I released her from the hug. My eyes fell upon the bruise that adorned her jaw and I was filled with sad emotions again.

I carefully moved my claw up to the bruise and gently covered it with my palm before focusing my energy through my claw and into Celestia the same way I did to Dee when she was injured. I felt the lump of the bruise sink back down.

When I removed my claw again, the bruise was gone and the color had returned back to its normal white color instead of being green and black.

I stood up from Celestia and pulled the helmet from my head. When it came free, it reverted back into the tiara that Twilight had on her head before. I placed it on a table in Celestia's room and began to take off the rest of the Elements of Harmony.

As I pulled of each piece of the armour, they returned back to the how they looked earlier that night and I felt the strength that they gave me leave my body as more and more of the armour came free.

After I got the final leg piece off, I felt my body convert back to my human form, but this time was painless. I could still transform back and forth now, but I didn't need to be in my Hybrid form right now. I tuned and looked to Celestia and smiled to her before looking back down to the Elements on the table.

"How did you break free of the stone?" I heard Celestia ask from behind me. I didn't answer as I just continued to look at the Elements.

She came up behind me and put a hoof on my shoulder and turned me around to face her. She still had a hurt expression on her face, but she did have a little curl in her lip now.

"I know what you did to the my race, and I must say that I was offended by the very idea of such a thought." I said, causing that little curl to vanish. "But I know now that you were only doing what your told you to do, and that you didn't know any better. Discord told me what he made you do and why. I know that you had no choice in the matter and here I come and hit you in the face, thinking that you never had been punished for your atrocities that you caused."

She lowered her head as she began to tear up again. I spotted one of the tears roll down her cheek, so I pulled her into an embrace again.

"I'm sorry. You were just trying to be different to what you were all those years ago, and I just threw back in your face. So if I learnt anything since I realized the truth, it's that I should be sorry and not been so quick to judge your intentions." I finished my speech.

I let go of Celestia, but she didn't let go of me. I didn't even realize her place her hooves around me.

"And I'm sorry too. I should have told you from the beginning what happened. And I'm *SNIFF* sorry about what I did in the past. I know I can't ask you to forgive me, but if you will allow it, I would like it if we could be friends." She said as she lifted her head from my shoulder.

"I guess we could give it a try" I said and she looked at me and smiled.

Celestia hugged me for a moment longer before she released me from the embrace and turned toward's the apparent crowd that had gathered outside of her chambers.

"My subjects. Please return to the gathering outside. I will be along momentarily." Celestia said for the crowd to hear. Soon after, they began to slowly dissipate from the overly cramped hallway.

Celestia gestured for me to follow her before she left her room and I quickly caught up to her. We walked through the castle for a few minutes until we reached the door to another room.

"This will be your room Orion" Celestia stated while opening the door with her magic. I took a step inside and my eyes opened in shock before a look of confusion washed over my features.

"Uh...Celestia? This room seem like it's fit for royalty, of which I am not." I said looking around the massive room.

The room had a bed that was bigger than my entire room that I had when I was being studied by the scientists from my time.

There was a desk that looked like it was made of well patterned Mahogany and looked really expensive, a smaller round table in the middle of the room with two couches that also looked very expensive, there was like 10 bookshelves all holding like 100 books, and finally, there were 2 doors that led to god-knows-where and another set of glass doors that led to a balcony.

"Yes. This is one of the finest guest rooms in the castle. I thought it might be nice that you have somewhere to stay, and we have enough space in this palace for you." She said.

"Yeah, It is nice. But this room is huge. Don't you have like... a closet sized room that I could use?" I asked with sarcasm.

"If it makes you feel any better, that door there leads to a closet." she stated while pointing to one of the two doors and Giggling. "Please enjoy your stay. We will talk again in the morning." She said as she shut the door to the room I was in.

"NO, Wait!" I shouted as I ran to the door and opened it, only to find and empty hallway. Sighing, I closed the door and began to explore the room.

I walked up to the door that I had no idea about and opened it.

Inside was a personal bathroom just smaller than the bedroom itself. It had a bath that was more like a swimming pool.

I shook my head and pulled my head out of the bathroom before making my way to the door that Celestia said was a closet. I opened that door and found that it was basically another room with shelves and coat rack's all over the walls. But there was no clothing in sight anyway.

This thought made me look down to me ruined camo pants and sigh. I was going to need new clothes VERY soon.

I began to walk toward's one of the bookshelves, but was cut off by a knock at the door. I made my way to the door and opened it to find a white unicorn stallion with a black mane and wearing a waiters suit standing outside.

The unicorn jumped a bit as his eyes fell upon me before regaining his composure. "Can I take your order sir?" he asked while levitating out notepad and pen.

I looked at him in confusion. "I'm sorry?" I asked.

"Your order sir? I was informed that you had not yet had supper. Breakfast, lunch and supper are complementary in this palace, should you require them." he said.

"Oh, well I don't really know what there is." I informed him.

"Not to worry sir." he said as he levitated out a menu to me.

-You should ask how the steak is.- Halex said.

"How is the-" I stopped myself just in time. 'You're an asshole Halex!' I shouted to him in my mind.

He just began to laugh.

As I looked over the foods on the menu, I couldn't help but notice that it only had vegetarian foods that seemed to be suited to ponies. I guess I was going to have to ask.

"Do you have anything that dosn't have flowers, grass or hay in it?" I asked hopefully.

"You could just have the salad, sir." recommended the waiter-pony.

"That is what I shall have. Thank you." I said. I wasn't really happy about the terrible choice, but it wasn't his fault. No one knows that I'm an omnivore.

"Good. sir, I shall return with your order soon sir" He said, as he began to trot off, I called out to him.

"Wait! Can I please get a pitcher of water and a glass with that too?" I asked.

"Of course, sir." he said as he left.

I retreated into my room and closed the door behind me. I walked over to the bed and sat down on it while putting my hands over my face.

"Either things went so much better than I hoped they would, or I'm dreaming" I said to myself out loud.

-Yeah. Your apology went a little too well if you ask me.-

'I honestly don't care that much though. I more worried about the whole 'living in a palace and with royalty that I king hit not so long ago' problem. I hit the princess for crying out loud. Celestia may have forgiven me, but what about all the other ponies.'

-What do you mean?-

'They don't know why I punched her. So, to them I most likely attacked Celestia because I'm evil.' I said to Halex with a sigh.

-And now you're worried about an uprising?-

'More like an attempted assassination.-

-Well now that we are back to full strength, I will keep and eye open for you.-

'Thanks man.'

I sat there for a few minutes, just thinking to myself how comfortable the bed I was currently sitting on was. I removed my hands from my face and looked down to the bed. I placed a hand on the bed and felt the velvet like softness of the sheets.

I was disturbed from caressing the sheets by a knock at the door again. I got up and made my way to the door and opened it again.

It was the waiter-pony again, except he was levitating a silver platter and a pitcher of water with a glass off a tray. I stepped aside and let him enter.

He walked up to the table in the middle of the room and placed the items on it. He then bowed his head and backed out of the room and closed the door with his magic on his way out.

I rolled my eyes, opened the door again and said "thank you" to him before he left. I closed the door and made my way to the platter and moved the silver lid thingie and saw a salad that actually looked quite appetizing. I took a tomato slice from the plat with my hand and placed in gingerly in my mouth.

Words could not describe how good that single piece of tomato tasted, and it was just tomato.

Within a few seconds, I had managed to consume the entire plate of salad that should have been enough to feed four people my size.

'Well I suppose I am eating for two.' I thought to myself.

I poured myself a glass of water and chugged it down in one go.

"Well that was great!" I said to myself.

-I wouldn't know.-

'Alright sour puss. You can have next dinner.' I told Halex to keep him happy.

-I'm good with that. But what should we do now?-

I looked out the window. The moon was out and shinned brightly. The beautiful sky gave me an idea.

I stood up and transformed into my Hybrid form. I then began to walk to the balcony.

-What are you doing?-

'I really want to just go for a fly for a bit. It's been a while since I've done so.'

-I did.-

'When?'

-Not important. Just go for the fly already.-

I rolled my eyes at his stupid remark before opening the glass doors and stepping outside. I stretched my wings a bit before extending them to their fullest. I then relaxed my wings again before sprinting at the railing. Without stopping, I leapt up onto the railing and jumped off it as fast as I could.

I moved forwards for about 40 metres before gravity started to pull me down, causing me to free fall.

I fell for a few moments before I extended my wings again and rapidly changed direction back up. I began to flap my wings and I kept going up.

Eventually the palace was about 15, 000 feet below me while I just looked around the horizon. I closed my eyes as I took in a deep breath of the cold refreshing air before exhaling slowly out my mouth. I always felt great up at this altitude. But my relaxation was cut short by the sound of flapping wings.

I spun around and spotted a shiny blue stallion with a blue mane and tail panting as he tried to make his way up to me.

'Wait. That's not shiny blue fur. That looks like a latex skin suit.' I told myself.

The stallion looked at me with his green eyes, panting. I just laughed before dropping out of the sky.

I rolled myself over so my snout was pointing straight down as I continued to drop. I folded my wings to become a bit more aerodynamic. This resulted in me being shot to the ground, probably faster than a bullet.

I believe I reached the speed of Mach II. Judging by how fast the ground was coming toward's me, I needed to pull up soon.

Just before I did however, I activated a force field around myself so I could safely open my wings and not just just have them ripped off from the wind resistance I encountered.

I then began to maneuver my way through the streets of Canterlot a hellova lot faster than I should have been as I leveled out and pulled back up again.

As I cleared the building, I looked behind me and my eyes widened as I saw that the latex stallion was somehow keeping up.

I looked forwards again and poured more power into my speed and absolutely expolded away from the pursuer. As I was flying, I quickly changed directions multiple times to loose the pursuer around as many roofs, two-story buildings and chimneys. Eventually I lost him.

I landed and hid in an alley for a few minutes, but I ended up seeing him fly up above Canterlot and look in all directions in an attempt to find me me while he flew around. I just remained hidden as he did.

After about a minute of him trying to be a U.A.V., Another pony in a latex suit flew up to him.

As far as I could tell, the second pony was a mare with a fire orange mane and tail.

The second pony flew up and got, attention of the first and he flew over to her. If my skills at charades was any good, I'd assume she was explaining that she was explaining that she was angry about something and he was trying to explain that he saw me drop out of the sky and loose him in the buildings and he was then searching for me. The mare facehoofed. What I didn't expect was that she ended up joining in on the search.

At seeing her do this, I just facepalmed myself.

I looked around. I needed to get back to the palace before they find me.

-You can teleport you know.- Halex reminded me.

I facepalmed again. How the hell did I forget that.

'Oh, that's right! Thanks man.' I said as I began to concentrate.

"There he is!" Someone shouted.

I looked in the direction of the voice and saw that the stallion had spotted me and began to give chase once again, the mare hot on his trail.

I closed my eyes again and concentrated harder and soon I heard a *POP* and felt a large *WHOOSH* feeling before I felt normal again. I opened my eyes again and saw I was back in the room Celestia had offered to me.

I sighed with relief.

'Those ponies didn't catch me, that's too bad.' I told myself as I began to make my way toward the bathroom.

I entered and shut the door before making my way over to the bath and turning on the water.

As the bath filled up, I took the only two remaining pieces of clothing I had and stepped into the warm, refreshing water and sighed again. I realized this was a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time.

I bathed myself for about 10 minutes. When I stepped out, and looked around for a towel, I couldn't find any!

'You know what!? Fuck this!' I yelled as I used my telekinesis to quickly dry myself off. It hurt my head, but nearly as much as when I teleported.

-Please warn me before you do that again. It does hurt me as well.-

I ignored Halex as I pulled my briefs back on before walking to the balcony doors, shutting them, and the curtains; before I made my way over to the bed.

When I reached the bed, I climbed in and relished in the comfort of the sheets.

'Hey Halex?'

-Yeah?-

'Who do you think those ponies were tonight?'

-How am I supposed to know?-

'Just a thought.'

-Well no. I dont't know who they were. But I doubt we have seen the last of them.-

'Yeah. This ponies in this place seem to have a habit of just not wanting letting me go, eh?'

-Yeah well. What are you going to do?-

...
...
...

-And don't even think about suicide. I won't let you do that.-

'Darn. You read my mind,' I rolled my eyes at his dumb suggestion. 'Well I'm going to go to sleep now. Talk to you in the morning.'

-Before you do, I just want to say that I think you made a great apology today. I'm happy.-

'Thanks man. Night.'

-Night.-

I closed my eyes and began to drift into a peaceful slumber.

Little did I know that I was being watched through someone's magic
