It was a confession - one that had appeared to be disastrous. But when you've known somebody this long? And you've experienced so much? What other choice is there, than to move forward? Two girls must learn this lesson.

A stormy night, something that's supposed to instill fear and unease into those who see it. The flashes of lightning and cracks of thunder serve as warnings to those who witness it. We are meant to fear it. But what happens when you learn to face the storm head on and overcome it?

My story for the third annual FlutterDash contest.

Rainbow Dash has had a long day of work, but now she can't go to sleep. No matter how hard she tries, she just can't do it. Not without the help of somepony she trusts, but who can help her?

Aria Blaze and Sonata Dusk are constantly bickering. It drives their sister, Adagio Dazzle, slightly crazy at times, but when she bursts in on what sounded like a more heated argument than usual, she sees something that won't be easy for her to accept.

Somehow, this leads to Fluttershy trying to help her. Then the rest of Fluttershy's friends get involved.

Rainbow has known Fluttershy for a long time, almost longer than she can remember remembering things at all. Lately, though... things have been weird. Not like... super weird, but weird.

It's like... Shy is still Shy, but cooler? Not quite. It's complicated. Rainbow wasn't actually planning to do anything about it, though. Not until Applejack stuck her nose into Rainbow's business.

Still, maybe it will be okay. She just has to talk to Shy, right?

Rainbow Dash has been rising the ranks of Canterlot High's athletics since her first day of school. Now, after years of training and hard work, she has become the captain for the soccer team again this year, and the school cannot wait to cheer her on for the big city wide tournament. With the best support group in the world, Rainbow Dash feels on top of the whole world! To make things even better, Dash now has a good friend on the team!
There's just one friend who isn't as happy.
Fluttershy can't help but feel as if the success of her friend is driving them farther and farther apart from each other. Even after spending all of middle school and high school gathering up her courage to tell Dash how she really feels, she may never get the chance now! Will she finally speak her mind and tell Rainbow Dash what her heart desires?

A one shot EqG FlutterDash story. After loosing a game, Rainbow Dash needs to escape with the help of Fluttershy which leads to the two reminiscing about the past, rekindling their strong friendship and maybe even igniting something more.

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have been friends for a long time. Fluttershy has been in love with Rainbow Dash for a long time. And Rainbow Dash? She hasn't answered the question yet.

But when the opportunity of a lifetime finally arrives, Rainbow may not be able to put off her answer any longer.

Fluttershy's last expedition to find and observe the breezies had been an amazing experience for her, all things considered, but if there was one thing about it she hadn't loved, it was having nopony there to share the experience with.

Now, presented with the similar opportunity, Fluttershy decides to invite Rainbow Dash and Rarity on her latest expedition to the Crystal Forest. The expedition, however, ends up being far more dangerous than any of them ever expected...

As well as having to avoid the ever-present threat of the wildlife living on the island, the three are forced to deal with seemingly inexplicable magical phenomena and the mental toll of being separated from one another. They discover forgotten history buried in time, new and exotic creatures, and, for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, emerging feelings for each other.
