My name is Jack Diamond. My family just moved to Ponyville because of my dad's new job. I'm now starting my junior year at Canterlot High School, having to make new friends, trying to pass my classes, maybe get a girlfriend, the usual stuff.

But CHS is not your average school. With every unexpected thing that can happen there, I'm going to need some help from Twilight and her friends to make it through.

The only catch is that I'm not some average student, but a student with a special 'gift' that no one knows. I'm still learning how it works because I learn something new about my 'gift', and maybe my time here could help me with that...if I can survive.

This is placed in an alternate Equestria Girls world, without the pony world that appears in the movies.

I literally came up with this at 5:30 in the morning one day.
The timeline is after Friendship Games, but before Legend of Everfree. I've yet to see LoE as of 11-14-16.

The girls have finally defeated the last of the evil, magical forces in their world and are finally at peace. So what's the next thing they do after leaving Camp Everfree? Playing games from their most favorite music game franchise, Guitar Hero. But later on, they hear about a world tournament that will determine the band that will not only win the grand money prize, but the title of "Best Guitar Hero Band Ever." The girls must now decide who will be entering it and spreading the awesomeness of the Rainbooms.

Who will win THIS "battle of the bands?" Which of the girls will be teaming up to enter the tournament? Will everything pay off?

Three years following the events of Legend of Everfree, the magic that Gloriosa wielded has taken its toll on her. Paralyzed from the waist down, she and her brother, Timber Spruce had no other choice but to give up their beloved camp to Filthy Rich to pay the medical costs.

Struggling to come to terms with how much things have changed, Gloriosa still waits for the day that her brother can forgive her for the actions she commited, and the people that she hurt with her own selfishness.

Spike has been spending a lot of time with Flitter, a local pony in town who is (at best) an acquaintance of the Mane 6. Rarity sees this and launches straight into action, enlisting Twilight Sparkle's aid in getting to the bottom of Flitter's intentions with her dear Spikey-Wikey.
