In a land far away in a castle age universe, Fluttershy is the Princess. She is to be wed, but, she, unfortunately, hates dislikes her suitor. For, she is hopelessly in love with one of her slaves: a Pink mare by the name of Pinkie Pie. She has no way of telling her the way she feels without being caught by her personal guard and being scolded for conversing with the slaves for reasons other than to boss them around.

But, an opportunity arises during the Festival of a New Cycle: to celebrate the kindom reigning successfully for yet another year. Fluttershy asks a question she thought was impossible to ask a slave...

"May I have this dance?"

The sun is big and beautiful and bright. It warms you up, and it makes you smile. But the sun can also exhaust you. And if you stare directly into the sun, if you get all caught up in its beauty and forget to look away, it can blind you.

After Getting Chicken Pox at Fluttershy's Pinkie stays with her for a week as to not get anypony else sick, and so they can have company seeing as how it will take a week for them to feel better. But from the time they spend together, new feelings emerge. How will they deal with these strange new thoughts?

With Fluttershy hurt and shattered; Pinkie Pie makes a decision that could end up being good, or bad.

Fluttershy is finally with a pony she trusts and believes she can love. In this version of their relationship they will grow as mares and Fluttershy will come to terms with her past with the help of Pinkie.
