In this saga, a herald of the Queen mother has arrived to deliver a message to the royal princesses and to investigate the well-being of Equestria in the last millennia of her absence. However after the changeling incident Canterlot is in a state of high alert and no pony takes kindly to armed vagabonds merely waltzing towards the royal keep.

To her horror, she learns that she is destined to be the reincarnation... and there is nothing she can do about it
