Winter has come around once again and Rainbow Dash and Soarin have said goodbye to Tank as he settles down for his second hibernation. Dash is so excited about spending the first winter with her very special somepony, but Soarin has to tell her something. he is leaving for a Wonderbolts Winter tour and won't be back until spring.

The story also starts out with how the two pegasi got together.

This is my first actual FiMFiction I've ever written, I'm somewhat rusty. My good friend GeosdesicDragon has edited this for me. I am a huge fan of SoarinxDash ship and I have actually put a lot of heart into this, as I personally see myself like Rainbow Dash. As a huge tomboy, like her, we do actually have an affectionate side that we don't like showing off in public.

A short one-shot in which Rainbow Dash is told the three words that break her tough exterior.

Rainbow Dash had another day of training at the Wonderbolts. Everything turned out to be fine until she received a letter that turned her own world out. Now, in a state of restlessness and depression, Rainbow Dash hid herself away from every other pony as she tried to contain her sorrow. In her lowest point, Soarin' dropped by and offered her something that she could not refuse: A Midnight Flight. SoarinDash one-shot and a hurt/comfort fic in one.

After a family bereavement, Rainbow Dash is now as lonely and distraught as ever. With only her friends, she feels something is missing, something that left her 15 years ago. Something she never forgot, and something she hopes will return.

Soarin is a regular pegasus who wishes to join the Wonderbolts, yet he struggles to care for his ten year old sister Sky Jayne.
Rainbow Dash lives a life of luxury, thanks to her husband, yet the world will never understand her pain.
She goes on a regular trip to the floating ship Cloudsdale for reasons she will never understand.
He goes to seek money and his dream.
The love that cost lives is told through this tale, Love Will Go On And On.

After a long stretch of time, Soarin is finally able to get to talk to Rainbow Dash (with the persuasion of some friends). They spend time together, and he finally realizes that he might have a chance to be with the pony of his dreams. But when the threat of war begins to hang over Equestria, will they be able to maintain their new feelings, or be swept away in the fighting?

So this is my first fanfic. Ever. I appreciate all constructive criticsm, sugggestions, questions, etc. This story will take time to develop into the war story, so just be patient. Also, if you give a thumbs down, please say why. I am not a writing expert, so I am always looking for ways to improve!

Some language, violence later on. Don't worry, I got this whole thing planned out :)

Rainbow Dash has been a Wonderbolt for some time. She has also been happily married to Soarin and they have had two foals: a colt named Fire Spectrum, and a filly named Gentle Breeze. It's almost time for Rainbow and Soarin's anniversary; when Gentle Breeze finds out about where the two are going to celebrate, she also realises that she and her brother don't know about how the two started dating in the first place. Needless to say, she wants to find out, now if only her brother was as enthusiastic as her....

Soarin Skies and Rainbow Dash have been friends since childhood. For Soarin, he doesn't know that Rainbow has a crush on him. For Rainbow Dash, she doesn't know that Soarin has a crush on her. Will they confess each other's feelings? Or they will stay friends forever?

After inadvertently running into Soarin one night when out flying, Rainbow Dash invites him as her 'Plus one' to Twilight's Hearth Warming party.
